Just be patient,i am sure your in no hurry to get rid of it so keep it for awhile.
As time goes on,things get harder to find in mint condition or sealed, less of
them become available complete or are destroyed in one way or another.
You may sell it for bugger all now, then you may find in five years or even
ten years that you regret selling it earlier

I have a crap ton of CEs sealed and in mint condition, and I dont plan on selling a single one for years to come. I expect this will go up eventually, and I hope it will go up a lot. It probably will considering there are supposedly only 12, but since it came in seperate parts, that effects the price greatly

It was only $270 RRP, but he paid $2500 for his copy as he bought one of the Exclusive editions of ebay (only 12 of them).

The exclusive editions weren't a planned CE, it was because they took 12 more orders than they should have so they just gave out an extra special CE (with one extra print I think is all it includes) to the first 12 people to email back to a message that was sent out xx

Haha

I was wanting one when they went up for preorder, but you had to pay the $270 up front, which was too short notice for me (especially as it sold out SUPER fast)

But no chance would I have paid $2500 for it, even if it is one of the 12 exclusives xx

$2500 is a ton of money to have invested on this. Buy low, sell high; not the other way around. Who's honestly going to pay that much again for that game? The price was so high for it then because people were excited. It was something fresh and exciting. As time passes, will people still be as jazzed and ready to drop $2500 for an Extra Exclusive Edition? I'm not so sure. I mean, I'm sure there will still be interest in it; but $2500 worth of interest? Good luck though. Please make sure and let us know just as soon as you decide to sell it.

I'm not selling it for less, there is no way I"m gonna let myself not break even on this. I wasn't going to buy it originally, I asked this forum for advice, and got like 10 posts that said due to how limited it was, and that it appeals to fans of Todd Macfarlane more than just VG fans, it can only go up. So many people told me if you have the money, buy it now, so I did. I guess I should make my own decisions and not listen to this site sometimes XD. I didn't even have the money, I had to beg my parents and assure them it was a good investment. If it's not heads will roll.....I've made plenty of good investments in games (bought ME 1 CE for like $120 back in the day etc.) but my parents don't trust that I"ve made a single good investment. They said if you are so confident in your game hobby investments then we'll help you with this big one and see if it pays off. It better.

Yeah, it was the hype that caused it tbh.

I wouldn't even have dropped $1000 on it, even though I desperately wanted one (Just a Signature edition I wanted, not an exclusive, and for the Signature Edition I'd have went to $500 tops) xx

To be fair though, until one of these Extra Exclusive Editions comes up for sale again, we really can't say for sure what's going to happen; and lord knows there are plenty of old CEs that command insane amounts of money these days (see Fortune Hunter Edition, Ultra Limited Edition, Survival Edition, WoW:CE)

All you need is one or two people that really want it, and you're back in business.

It's just the thought of having so much money tied up in the game, and the possibility of losing a sizable amount of that invest that makes me cringe...

Does anyone know what games are known to be among the most valuable; and how much are they worth?
