I don' think a full refund is possible unless it's torn.

That being said one could always use their e-mail against them, if it came to that.

Writing that something should be in mint condition is quite stupid, although it is admirable.

Anyways, it would seem they put all four lithos in one tube for my order, so I'm really looking forward to that.

What email are you referring to rasmusvn? Did an email you get from treehouse claim you should have received your lithos in mint condition?

Suks about your lithos being stuffed together

While not ideal a 4" tube would allow for them to be reasonably well packed if it was done correctly which I doubt it was

Same place as mine which seems a bit odd.

While it was a 4 inch tube, both Litho's were rolled to about an inch, wrapped in clear plastic then put in the tube which makes loads of sense

Sigh it's as I thought damage before it shipped and across several from the looks of things

What's the point of mailing it in a tube if you're not going to use the tube?

More or less.

I'm talking about the replacement e-mail, which says:

The order to have them reprinted is in, and they will be rushed to our
warehouse when they're done so they can start shipping out to you in
mint condition
right away. We're being told to expect shipping to
start the week of April 1st, but we'll do everything we can to make
sure you get as perfect a litho as possible as soon as possible.

So why should one accept only a partial refund when they apparently ship out in mint condition? And the litho being wavy or creased doesn't fall under "as perfect as possble".

It's also frustraing that they make a statement like the above, when they also say:

...standard caveats apply here where perfection is impossible to deliver and damage is a sliding scale of severity, but we do honestly want to work things out when things go wrong

I think I sound like a broken record

From what I can tell Rasmsuvn, you've had a lot of dealings with Treehouse lithos in the past so your input is certainly welcomed and I'm sure your complaints are warranted

I agree that they're contradicting themselves if they state shipped mint condition then say may be damaged

I may complain and try to get a partial refund or something

I just don't want the damage on my litho to fall to the wayside as it DOES bother me

You'll probably get a 10% refund, that's what I've been offered for partial damage before, so unless something has changed..

I think I've had a minimum of 10 replacements, and I didn't even catch the ME2-lithos.

Looking over the tickets I found this gem

June 26, 2012 11:22 am
...and out of 225 Crucible lithos, only 2 were reported damaged (including yours). So getting a replacement in perfect condition is more likely.

One day later...

Yes....I think someone opened the flood gates.... (of damaged prints)

I received my goodies last week. Ryan, do you guys get a lot of complaints about mugs with broken handles upon arrival?

My Dishonored-mug arrived with the handle rattling around in pieces in the bubble wrap. I think the problem is that the white box the mug was put in is too small when holding the mug wrapped in bubble wrap. The two strips of bubble wrap makes the mug so big that it forces the box into a rhombus-shape where the handle gets trapped in one of the pointy corners (pic below). If the box then gets thrown around inside the shipping box there is a good chance of the mug handle getting some ugly blows during handling and transport.

I would suggest using a box that is big enough to not get bent out of shape when bubblewrap is added.

I got the issue resolved with customer service in a flash and I am getting a replacement sent my way (thank you, Chantel ). I have to give your customer service gentlemen and gentleladies a big thumbs up
Unlike a certain other online store (rhymes with booby-loft) it seems like you guys actually care about having satisfied customers!

----------------------------------
The box was more out of shape than in this picture I sent to customer service.

I just got my dishonored prints today. I only opened one so far but its pretty much fucked. It was packaged nicely, someone with sausage fingers must have rolled it up because it has big creases all the way up it. Treehouse If your listening you need to fire however rolls your prints cause it looks as if they damaged the whole lot, anyone know if any replacement dishonored prints are left??
