You just need to make an account to the disc country say UK so the dlc can be used and if you need to buy anything of PSN just use PayPal.

Yeah, forgot to say that, sorry,
For DLC it's handy to have a couple of different PSN accounts from different regions, mainly EU and US from what I've ran into before tbh.

From what I heard, the CE was only going to be an Ubishop exclusive, theoretically to reduce the amount of waste of having Ubi CEs sitting on shelves across the country not being sold (like every other AC game). However, this was from a GS manager, and Ubisoft did not deny or confirm this when I contacted them about it.

For what its worth, I've basically just imported every UK version for the last 3 games and the discs (and DLC) have all seemed to work on my Xbox consoles. (Ended up getting the 360 version instead of X1 of AC4:BF though because they sent me the wrong console version) but sounds like PS4 should be doable as well.

Thanks Knight. Would you mind sharing your preferred method/source of getting the best deal on UK CE versions in the USA? You just eBay it or preferred vendor/site you typically order from?

I can click on the UK UBI site for pre-order of the Big Ben ACS CE, but won't even let me add to a cart (I assume because it recognizes my IP as USA).

UBI seems funny about this geography thing. When I contacted the PureArts people about getting my Connor Premium statue, they wouldn't sell it directly to me simply because their license with UBI prohibited sales to clients in USA.

Yeah, its a known issue with Ubishop. They always have the best CE on their UK site and usually don't allow other non-UK (sometimes non-EU) people even see the site.

I usually reach out to one of our lovely Brits on here who goes ahead and orders one for me. Then we work out shipping when they get it. We have an entire thread dedicated to just this type of transaction HERE (its stickied under the "GroupBuy" section in case you were wondering). Just post what you're looking for and where, and if anyone is willing to help, they'll let you know!

Sometimes someone will have the time and availability and just do an entire "groupbuy" where they open it to everyone too, but I don't believe there is currently one open for this edition.

Just be aware that these things cost a pretty penny to ship back to the US as they're always huge and heavy. So just budget accordingly.

Edit: Also, Ebay would likely be simpler perhaps - but then you are paying huge mark-ups usually. If you want one of these editions, you can always chance that they'll drop in price down the road through overproduction by Ubi, but I find that typically I just prefer to pay the MSRP (+ conversion costs) + shipping and know that I'm getting one in good condition and guaranteed. But if the difference between the 2 versions (or having the "best version") isn't THAT important to you, then just going with the best US CE (at this time sold by OUR Ubishop) is probably your best bet.

Thanks again, I'll weigh my options and perhaps check with some UK members if they can assist. What is your thoughts about the diff in the two Jacob figures? I like both CE figures better than that Lightpost w/ crow figure advertised separately but not sure if I'm entirely into all the extra clock business behind him in the Big Ben ed.

Now that I think about it though, Figures aside, I could care less about the flask & large "collecter" box so really I was looking at the Litho and Steelbook and Season Pass offered w/Big Ben that is absent in US version. Now however, I like the other ACS steelbook better from NZ site earlier on this thread which I'm sure will pop up separately for reasonable $$$ so that really leaves litho & season pass. If believe you can buy season pass for half the diff between the list price on the two version, so when you add in conversion and extra import/shipping costs, maybe the Charring Cross direct from UBI US preorder is the way to go....

Nope, very valid points all around. And pretty much why I mentioned the "decision" factor. It ends up being a lot of $$$ just to have the "best" edition, when the two aren't really that different as you mention. I'm still like 3 AC games behind in playing, but I enjoy having the "definitive" edition of them since AC is one of my more prominent series in terms of collectibles (probably because there are so many of them!).
