Uncharted 3 is getting a limited edition guide,

You will also get a voucher code to download an exclusive multiplayer emblem. The guide itself contains a spoiler-free walkthrough of the campaigns with tips from the developers at Naughty Dog in addition to appendices for the various enemies, moves, treasures, trophies and unlockables. There is also a comprehensive multiplayer section plus an “Extras” chapter for artwork, crushing difficulty guide, easter eggs, hidden scenes, recap of the entire series and interviews with Naughty Dog.

Another announcement is what looks like some sort of board game for Metal Gear solid and a rare one at that, only 2014 will be made.

I’ve never been big on the Metal Gear Solid games myself, but I know it has tons of fans, so it’s no surprise that this limited-edition Metal Gear Solid Version of Risk is about to hit store shelves.

I’d prefer a mash-up of Risk and Civilization myself, but I have to admit, this game looks pretty cool. It’s limited to just 2,014 units and features custom box top art from Yoji Shinkawa, the Art Director of the Metal Gear games, not to mention an awesome game board.


Other features include over 290 custom game pieces, which include: 5 PMC Armies, 8 Bosses, Outer Haven Battleship, Drebin’s Shop Cards, Territory Cards, PMC Headquarters, Custom Outer Haven Game Board, Custom Earth Game Board and 7 dice.


This is a game that any serious MGS fan will want to own. You can pre-order it from October 3 through November 15 and it ships in November. You don’t even need to be sneaky to get it. Price is unknown at the moment.

Lastly, this is more of update, but Amazon UK has informed it's customers that the Limited Edition Stratergy guide fo Assassin's Creed Revelations is no longer avalaible for pre-order and all pre-orders cancelled. I'm not sure if it's just a supply problem or more spread, either way Amazon ( well UK at least) won't be getting this. Check you orders at your retailer just to be safe.

Ryaku I though the soundtracks weren't shipping until mid October. Is that from the supplier direct or from someone else.

Just a heads up, Batman Arkham City is getting a Limited Edition guide. It will be a hard cover version and you are suppose to choose between either a Batman or Catwoman cover. Not sure how though.

It is also rumoured to include extra content and even some DLC, struggle to find content yet.

Page count is 352 compared to 256 for the normal version.
