I wrote an email to customer service about the missing certificate and the numbering here is the answer I got. I already translated it for you guys.


I'm afraid, but this was a short-term decision made by Deep Silver. Unfortunately they came in default with producing the wooden boxes and due to the resulting time pressure Deep Silver was forced to cancel the certification because there was no time left to produce any further goodies. We are very Sorry about this. Such wasn't our intention and we will do our best to prevent this from happening again in the future.

What future? Dead Island only gets one chance to release its CEs and then it either becomes sold-out or consigned to the bargain bin if it hasn't sold in a few weeks/months time?

What this actually translates into is: "We're sorry the certificate got cancelled, but we realised that demand for this edition was high enough to warrant creating more copies so that we could make more money, hence why these are no longer numbered"

It's damn piece of paper. It takes 5mins to make a certificate...ran out of time?lol
I brought this from them and they asked for extra shipping money after I ordered it. I was like...no fix your website and they sent it XD

It sold out in may and they can't produce 200 certificates in 4 months, i've used more than 200 sheets of bog roll in that time, what a load of crap, I wonder what the returns policy is on this, limited, authenticity and exclusive is one the main reason's we buy these CE's, done with game4game myself

The "ran out of time" is actually an insult to think we would fall for that, totally finished with them, its such a shame because the contents are not of bad quality really and the box is better than COJ in my eyes

We should petition to them maybe they will re-think lol? because a simple C.O.A would make this ALOT better

I liked Sniper GW, COJ was a piece of Sh*t and i hate dead island before i even have it, bye bye game4game

I liked the Sniper GW too. Especially because I got mine at Gamestop for 39,99 I think! It had not every content the game4game-edition had, but it was enough at a good price.
CoJ has been nothing special.
Dead Island is not to bad. The box is huge and well made(very small gaps when closed) for me. The content is ok , although the Poloshirt is way to small for me(i´m a real big guy ).
But I understand why all of you are upset. The missing certificate annoys me, too!
