I hope people from uk game stores are reading this. There is a reason why companies such as futureshop and game.fr for example do not ship outside there own country and its because of ovrrsea fraud.
It pisses me off i cant get thingz from abroad and yet the whole world can buy are limited editions. I hope, fod fucks sake, they read this and decide to let us have our limitededitions for ourselves. i bet a great majority of the original 4000 mgs units were due to go overseas. it disgusts me. And then these people are fraudulent. its sick

Well, the two people who admitted to do some fraudulent non delivery claims are from the UK, so I don't know why are you blaming people from overseas (I know that the fraud exist still, I'm not that naive).

I had bought a lot of items on ebay and places like that and never filled a claim to get my money back, of course the items always arrived in perfect condition and not smashed like if an elephant sat on it. And I'm not going to do it now... even though i thought about it, because seems to be an easier way than return the item just to get another smashed item.

Sorry, my bad didnt realise these people were british. makes me even more mad. i believe when this happens the companies can claim for lost goods in their tax returns. so its actually a loss to government revenue. please correct me if im wrong.

If this is the case why should companies care if they can claim it back?
Maybe our laws here need rewriting if it is the case.
They should pay extra to send recorded delivery

If someone in the know does know claim procedures for companies and lost items I would be very interested to know more.

these people are probably also part of the large scale riots last year.
Its these people who disgrace our country. line em up with the rioters and do what jeremy clarkson suggested on day time tv.

I don't know the law in the UK (I just now how the legal system works in general), but in most places companies are insured so they can bear a percentage of losses and the insurance company will pay that amount. And on the other hand, those losses can count when you are making your balance.

For me this was my first experience shopping on zavvi, and was surprise how cheap the shipping was. Now I know the reason. I would have no problem in paying extra (as I've done a lot of times) if that will ensure me that the package will arrive in time and in perfect condition.
