I knew by seeing that type of dent the statue, weighting at 15lbs, had to fall a decent distance.

Yeah I have to return the other two back to amazon.

I now opened the first two tonight. All three have the scar, and all three have a similar blush look across his nose and cheeks.

What I'm worried about, I asked imironmann to ship mine in the original packaging used by Mcfarlane. I assumed the Styrofoam the support the statue is strong enough during transit.
now seeing this damage. it gives me worries

To be honest Lex I don't think there is a lot else anyone can do without going completely insane with packaging. This is just how Ezio's fury is packaged and it sounds like Romeo's were dropped BEFORE they went in the shipping box... maybe in the Amazon warehouse???

I think a lot of FRAGILE tape is called for....

That's the issue here.... I don't know who is to blame. McFarlane ships the statue to Amazon in a fitted box. There is no room for error there. Amazon then puts the shipping box from McFarlane, with labels and all, in their own branded box with padding all around inside.

The first two I received had smashed corners on the McFarlane shipping box, right after opening the Amazon shipping box. So either it was damaged from McFarlane to Amazon, or someone in the Amazon warehouse is damaging these.

My inner box (the colorful one) had a smashed corner, not as bad as yours but as I got it directly from Mcfarlane I think it's their fault

mine too. not that bad though but still enough for me to notice and get annoyed. but overall it was in pretty good condition.
