GAMESTATION has again cancelled my pre-orders and they cant even tell me why because its a bloody computer that keeps cancelling it

I want the steelbook, but I reckon the price will drop drastically, just like the lfirst one...

Best bet is to buy game with steelbook and sell game for £30+, that way it will be £10 or less., maybe even sell codes and Artcard from pre-order pack to make the steelbook even less.

Ya i saw due what gurp says, im sure if you sell the other pre order stuff and games you can make a pretty penny as we americans and other countries have no access to that stuff and will pay more for it.

It will be interesting to see what happens to those steelbooks if they are never released in American as FF is a fan favorite. I bet they sky rocket on eBay.

Also what is the official release date for the game. Different sites say when and some say TBA.

I doubt that. Everyone and their mother are getting the steelbooks (except America), even those that don't even want it. There will be plenty of them on ebay, i guess, much like the preorder packs of Prince of Persia and the first Assassin's Creed.

December 15, 2011 for Japan
January 31, 2012 for North america
PAL February 3, 2012 for Europe and rest of world

Cool, ill be getting the Crystal edition from Aussie and if he US doesnt get the Crystal edition, which we most likely wont as they love giving us the shaft then ill pre order the game from Amazon for the Omega DLC

I was talking to the admin to the Futureshop community forum about this FF13-2 Steelbook, and something interesting happened, he said:

"Thanks Juolicious! I am working with Square Enix right now to see if we can get the assets over in Canada; if so, we will be able to use it and create a similiar Steelbook for Future Shop.

Stay tuned!"

I don't know how reliable this is, but hoping for the best!

Discussed with themidlandmaster and matrix6, we'll probably set up a group buy of the crystal edition from Aussie retailers in a few weeks time.

I hope they come up with a different version, would be nice to have two different ones
