Doesnt matter, she's still going to be a mainish character so all the fuss was for nothing

Good find Lily, it's clear that Ubisoft won't be stopping with just 3 statues of the main Assassin.

The guys over at access the animus have managed to get hold of all the shop.ubi.com images of the details of Elise that will appear in the coming days but have slapped their water mark on it so sad face
Looks to me as if they are one in front of other in the standard release pics both looking and pointing their arm in the same place

Looking at both statues, it looks like Arno will face left while Elise will face front. Like a 90 degree angle. That's if my guess of where it connects is correct.

Here's my pics of the PlayArts Connor..

Overall, a very nice figure. Details are very nice and the accessories are very easy to swap out.

A lot more pics and all my thoughts on the figure at my blog:

Can't quite figure out how these 2 (Arno and Elise) attach,

Looks to me as though they will go back to back
Which is a shame if its true
If love for them to go side by side and crow there swords (but Elise has the wrong arm up to do this
