The VGA cases are quite sturdy and well built tbh. I started collecting serious UC stuff just since late last year. That is the only franchise I really collect almost anything of. Else I keep myself limited to just CEs/LEs of other franchises.

Untill i joined this site the most i knew of press kits were the promo games.. If only i had a talent for writing
I used to work in Game dev before going to college (about 9 years ago!), was a member of IGDA too. Did some mods for Unreal Tournament (my favourite all time game). But I was never a full time game developer. I did make some friends in the industry then. I am not associated with game dev anymore. My current 2 contacts are reviewers from France and Australia.

I think press kits are truly limited in actual sense being there are 4000 or less of most of them. Also being exclusive to the media and unavailable to the market makes them truly collectible. Also, publishing house do put extra efforts in making them as unique and impressive as possible to impress the media for good review of course.

I have no sources sadly, none of my friends ever made it to anywhere game related, and nobody in my game dev course did either, though we all graduated at the start of the australian game industry dieing

I did like modding unreal in the class, it was a great game

The press kits are cool but its kinda like comics im just too poor to play in that world.

I think he knows someone who works at IGN. Plus alot of press kits aren't that hard to find you just need to be able to afford them.

Its the affording them part that im lacking, i cant keep up with the general CE's that keep coming out let alone press kits, though if i had the money i think id go after importing CE's anyway lol

Yeah I struggle with that too as I sold my Heavenly Sword and Resistance 1 press kits. Although I have now replaced my RFOM one. I now have a grand total of 3. It's probabley more difficult for you being in Australia as Sony have only 5 afaik for your region and they do the most and probabley best ones.

I love press kits but that's the hardest part for me too, the affording them.

I currently have 9 I think, two of which are incomplete. Working on it though xx

The figurine, is just from the Ac1 Ce right? The Ce goes for 100+ euro. So id say maybe 50 for the figurine?

The ACII press kit is anyones guess, but with all the crazy AC collectors i would say at least 200 euro. (probably even more, cant believe ppl spend so much on just a booklet).
