Sorry to hear about your troublesome experience with TriForce. I'm no familiar with them, but any reputable company should offer a replacement or refund.

Thanks Visalis. Triforce is not a reputable company, and they DO not do proper replacements. As I said in the previous post you read above, I talked at length with the sales manager, and he made it VERY clear to me that ONLY if the replica itself was damaged, would they EVEN consider replacing it. And ONLY the replica would be replaced, NOT the collector's box, or even the protective foam case the replica sits in. Triforce does not truely care about collectors, because if they did then they would care how I received both the replica and it's collectible box, which, they don't. They would have the replica itself engraved with a number (and even signed!). They would care about the whole product and the whole process, but they do not. Very, very sad. I feel ripped off good. So the final verdict: I can't in good conscience recommend ANYONE to buy from them.

Updated my lists. Rearranged some titles. Borderlands is now my #2 most favorite game and one in which I will attempt to collect everything for...

Soon I'll be adding my list of "movies and television".

I have some extremely amazing collectibles in transit to my home and will be adding pictures soon. One of these items is 1 of it's kind!

Stay tuned...

Thanks for the heads up, i though Amazon were bad with some of their packaging but that takes the biscuit but after a few e-mails always received replacements in time.
The M8 gun does look nice if hung up on a wall with a desk between it but close-up & i mean no disrespect looks like something you could get from toys r us
As said i mean no disrespect but at that cost (a good runner/second hand car) you would expect more & more respect.
What would you do with it now as it may be classed as poisoned (well in my eyes it would) buy?

Cool Re: foreverflash's Collection - Passionate Collector and Caregiver Extraordinaire

Nice collection Flash! Some sick stuff in there. My collection stands now at 50 Collector's Editions for Xbox 360 only, not counting first-editions and other not-truly-special editions. I don't have nearly as much extra stuff that you do, however...the stuff like figures and replicas that aren't in CE's and such. Maybe I'll get up to that type of expanse someday (of course I will, but I can't tell myself that ). I can compete with you on one thing though: I also own a Dead Space Ultra...

Just doing my duty for fellow collectors and interested parties, so no problem Hans. This whole ordeal was frustrating and disappointing, but I'm still happy (from a completionist point of view) to own the M8. Let me just say that the average person would consider the M8 Avenger replica to be amazing! They would love it. I am not your average person. I am a passionate collector who really cares about details that the average person would disregard. Understanding this, one could easily look at this M8 replica with awe and amazement. Since I take this collecting seriously, those details that most would disregard, however small some may think they are, make a WORLD of difference to me. I suppose anything someone is passionate about they will notice all the details where most others will not see them or not care.

If you are a completionist collector for Mass Effect, I say you have to have this M8. If you are not, then I certainly would not recommend it.

Thanks Starkiller! I see you are new. Have you made an introduction thread to share your life story and pictures with us? You should! It's what we thrive on here at CE.org. Pictures, stories and news...about collecting of course.

Lucky you on the Dead Space Ultra. It's a very special item. Unfortunately for me, my copy is both open and damaged (but repaired to a degree). As it stands right now, the most precious collector edition I own is NOT Dead Space Ultra anymore, but rather: Fallout 3 SURVIVAL Edition - of which I have the rarest of all 3 platforms (360) and it is pristine (though opened once, with original seal broken). Still, even being open, it is mint and fantasticly rare and sought after. No other edition I own brings me more pride.

Well thanks for the warm welcome! I have not made a page yet as you are aware, but I will get around to it soon. Might be just a list with pics coming in slowly as I get to them since I am pretty busy, but it will definately go up.

Also, in regards to this...very nice. Not trying to actually compete with you, but I have this too....on the 360, but also opened. I don't know about yours, but mine still has the original "DO NOT SELL BEFORE 10/08/2008" sticker!

And finally: just to be a little bit more of an ass, it's the "Survival" edition...not "Survivor". I'll let that slide, for now .
