I got this sometime last week;

Very short game that was more like an interactive anime series than a real game But I liked it anyway.

Default Deal I came upon at a pawn shop

Hey guys/gals, sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum (if so could a Mod please move it for me?).

I wanted to share with you all a deal that I found at a local pawn shop in our town.

We had set out to find my wife a tazer "(it's box says self defense flash light, and it indeed does have one attached to it as well), and some mace, as I want her to have protection and she does not want to carry a handgun. So I figured that 900 kv's (500,000 output volts) coupled with the mace that can blind a bear would be suffice enough for now.

I digress.

Now to the meat and taters of the story. We begin to look at the movies, even saw some VHS tapes. I'm sorry if some of you young'ns don't know what those are.

I came across the video games. Nothing really popped out at me, saw Chrono Trigger for the DS, black label God of War 3 and also a black label Heavy Rain too.

The first hidden jewel I came across was an Oblivion collector's edition. Missing the coin sadly, but everything else is surprisingly mint. The discs are in great shape and the box has normal wear etc.

Then I saw it - Mass Effect 2 Collector's edition. I tried to mask my enthusiasm as I asked to see it. It had a $20 price sticker on it. I was being waited on by a friend of ours who worked there, and he said don't mind that $20 tag. I will let you get it for $10 he said. Now I could have got it for about $7 or $8 but did not want to press my luck.

The box has very little wear but does show signs of normal usage. The one disk I inspected had a single scuff mark on it that could be took out easily, with not scratches to be found thankfully.

Now my favorite part of the set: the steelbook. It is in excellent shape. I would rate it a strong 8/10. It does show a few signs of wear etc on the back but that's it.

I did not check to see if the code worked or not, but overall condition wise I would rate it at about 80 to 85% mint in terms of what I inspected.

Needless to say I thought AI got quite a bargain as I snagged both game for only $20.

I left a happy gamer, my wife left feeling more secrure and my daughter had score a couple of kiddie DVD's.

Here's a few picks of my top score. Sorry about the size and quality as I usually let my wife do all the pic taking and she and the baby are asleep right now.

^
Never-mind the kitty on the bottom right. His name is Naruto and he is our little man. My daughter calls him Light though so lets keep the Naruto name tween all of us. 1

I was very surprised and happy with my find. Needless to say I will be going back to that pawn shop again soon to look around.

PM me if you have either to get rid of.

I also will trade for steels, but all I have to offer is sealed games and accessories like official Microsoft 320 gig slim HDD's & mint Sony dual shock 3 controllers. I have a high positive feedback rating at CAG 55+ so know that I am trustworthy in my dealings.

Thankfully this one does not do that.

I know of a flea market the next state over that has a booth that sells all types of games. Going to go there soon and see what all he has that would be worth getting.
