I'm quite sure that this is at least partially in response to what happened with the UC 3 NA CE

I think because they saw how hmmmmm

under appreciated

the UC 3 CE was, they decided to limit this one so that it would be appreciated, keep its value etc.

Of course that's just my thoughts

Although I love my UC 3 CE regarldess....

Yeah was a little bit pissed of when they reduced it to less than $40 retail. Naughty dog finally made up for it
