Let the rip off begin. I will not pay more than 200 aud for this. No wonder it took so long to start selling. Au/nz vendor was trying to get to rip us all off.

I can certainly afford it... but i do not have to like it.

I could go ahead with my pre-order for the Collector's Edition from Square Enix America themselves, have it shipped to my forwarding service and have them ship it to Australia with the fastest possible speed AND STILL be a damn side cheaper. Not $10, not $50 but a LOT cheaper.

$129 USD for the PS4 Collector's Edition from Square Enix America = $163 AUD.

$44 USD for overnight shipping from Square Enix America to my forwarding company = $56 AUD.

Lets say about $60 AUD for international expedited shipping.

$163 + $44 + $60 = GUESS FUCKING WHAT... its only $267. Add in a digital only Collector's Edition for a WORKING CE key and you have $69 AUD more.

ALL THAT IS EXTREMELY EXTRAVAGANT AND ALL... but its still $336 AUD!!!!

$40 CHEAPER than buying it here!!!

We all know that Teledji Adeledji (sp) is and has been betraying Ul'dah for a long time now, almost flat out treason. But could it be more than that? Makes it sound like either the Scions or the city states themselves are betraying the Warrior of Light (the player). Which i dont see that being likely. What about the mysterious absence of Hydaelyn and the new character Midgardsormr? Hydaelyn betraying the player i dont see how since she was seen ''leaving'' the player to their own devices. And Middy i cant see either as you have to ally with someone to get to the point of being betrayed. And so far, we have never allied with him.

If you paid attention to the story, you would know that Y'shtola isnt exactly happy with the Grand Companies and their endless conflict against the beast tribes, when they themselves are the cause... but i could hardly see that as the driving force of her betraying the player.

Thoughts anyone?

Mighty Ape have just sent out pre-order codes, that when redeemed on the included website turn into your bonus items code. This code however will not work until the release date of course.

I am not sure i want to go through with my pre-order at Mighty Ape... not at that insane price. Not when i can get the physical CE from America, shipped to me and buy an extra digital CE - ALL FOR CHEAPER than picking up a boxed CE LOCALLY.

Ridiculous how i can do all that and still be quite a bit cheaper!!!

They've finally caught on how "good" Australia was getting it with "relatively cheaper" prices than most of the world...
We're almost on par with Japanese pricing I reckon :/

EB Games Australia just added the standard editions for both PC and PS4. 2 hours (sorry, misread timezone) before the Collector's Edition is due to go up.

WARNING - DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF IT FAILS TO PROCESS BUT STILL CHARGES YOUR CARD.

Update - The reason i mention the above was that i ran into an error attempting to pre-order the Collector's Edition for Heavensward. Here is what happened:

I attempted to pre-order it right on the dot of 1pm and for whatever reason, it gave me an error message.

I tried again just in case and again, it failed and gave me an error message.

For a third time, i entered in all my details for a third attempt, all manual this time. Again, it failed.

To my utter shock and horror, the bloody thing charged my card THREE TIMES, once for each failed attempt. I called customer service and was told that ''not to worry, your money will be refunded to you in 1-2 weeks, apologies for the inconvenience and all''. Suffice to say, i was NOT at all pleased. I was out $150 for 2 weeks and no pre-order. Thanks EB Games Australia, thanks a bloody lot.

Just recently i got an email from someone at customer service and the following is what they said:

Hi mouseno4,

We are aware of some issues experienced with the preorder of the Heavensward Collector’s Edition that you attempted today on our website.

We have some good news – we can guarantee that we have a unit for you, which we will organise to have delivered to your local store for launch day.

For us to organise this we will need you to let us know which EB Games store you would like to collect this item from. Simply reply to this email with your nominated store or contact our Customer Service Team on 133 930 and let them know.

As the deposit for your online order is being refunded to you, we will require a $50 deposit for these orders but information as to how we will organise this will be provided a little later on.

Again, we do apologise for any inconvenience caused, and look forward to getting your awesome Heavensward Collector’s Edition to you.
