Thanks for the early unboxing! Seems like EA official CEs are including Star Metalpaks recently as seen from SWTOR and now ME3. Even Dragon Age Origins had only 1 run of real steelbooks then switched to Metalpaks. In fact, I can't think of any official EA CE coming with steelbooks in the last couple of years? This will be an important point for me the next time EA announces a metal case

Btw the RRP for the CE over here is SGD 100 which is around GBP 50. It's Asia version but all contents are the same and for some preorders we also get a free replica normandy.

Ah my bad. Yes crysis 2 had the steelbook in the nano edition. Awesome one that was. For the others, it was either a country/shop exclusive or a preorder bonus. Not included together in the CE.

For C&C I'm not certain as that was PC? Also what is skrim?

LOL but skyrim is not an EA title. SKRIM!

My earlier observation was based only on PS3 releases, now that I try to recall I think Mass Effect 2 got a steelbook in the XBox CE?

Yeah some are going for crazy prices, I might just sell my 360 version and keep the PS3 one......Money could go towards a Vita.
