Yeah, I have no hope what so ever with "next level support". I have had a query pending with a guy Ian and all I need is a fucking address for a UK office to send a Freedom Ed back to. Told them that it's disgusting that they expect me to foot the bill for a damaged item to be sent back to Germany. Would cost half the price of the game to send the damn thing back! >.< I queried that case with Tom too, so that's 2 cases currently open with them. Has been with Ian now for about 2-3 weeks...

If I haven't heard today, I will call again tomorrow and tell them to sort this shit out or I'll open a claim to get my money back with paypal.

For anybody who may be reading this in the future and find this post through a google search, don't order from Ubishop because they shit! Pay the little extra and order from ANYWHERE else! Even Zavvi's service is better than this...

I contacted the Ubishop Support (Germany - D?sseldorf) an hour ago regarding the wrong book.

Hey told me that the system made an error and didn't denied after all 500 books were pre-ordered.

Only option that I have is to send it back and ask for a refund now ord if I will get the shipping fees back.

Anyway waiting for a reply to my mail to them and what the moderator on the Ubi Forums will find out.


Beside that I ordered one from titan forbidden planet.....GBP 68 ~ € 84....

I can't believe than none of us in here was 1 of the first 500 books?
I think it got posted here pretty much the day it came up on their store.. And people order it..
And then how can he say they had 500 if forbidden planet had some too?

Ye that is so bullshit, even if it was overordered, they should have contact us so we could cancel. I mean seems unfair to send people who paid the same the normal version instead of limited. Also, yes i think some people here were pretty quick with ordering.

All of mine are the regular version, they have definitely taken the mick here, letting people order when it was infact SOLD OUT is not good enough, they should buy them back from Forbidden Planet and send them to us

The key factor is that from what I'm told the ubishop site didn't even offer the standard edition so how could anyone even know it would be shipped?

TThat is a LIE nobody that ordered from UBisoft received the limited edition
As it is still available form order from to other online stores at twice the price
Plus I just called ubi support on 0871 664 1000 and TOM sighed and told me to contact 0844 381 4143 but they are only open 3pm to 7pm which is when I work so I will never be able to contact them

I'm going to get in touch with the consumer advice service and every other government body I can think of that can help resolve this
