Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) announced today that “PlayStation®4 20th Anniversary Edition” will be available in Hong Kong for a price of HK$3,980. 90 sets of will be available during TOY SOUL Exhibition on December 21st, 2014. Customers can log in to the “PlayStation®4 20th Anniversary Website” from now on and register for a chance to purchase. Results will be announced on 17th December, 2014. Randomly selected registrants will be notified individually and receive a confirmation email to purchase the set at the PlayStation® booth during TOY SOUL exhibition.



Within the 90 sets of “PlayStation®4 20th Anniversary Edition” available in TOY SOUL, 70 sets will be available through online pre-registration, while the other 20 sets will be available for special PlayStation® fans who fulfilled designated conditions including “Having the most PlayStation® Platinum Trophies” (1 person), “Having the most PlayStation® Gold Trophies” (1 person) , “Having the most PlayStation® Trophies” (5 persons), “With the longest game playing time” (5 persons) ,“Hong Kong PlayStation® Store Top Spender” (1 person), “Having the most special editions of PlayStation® home consoles” (1 person), “Having the most special editions of PlayStation® portable consoles” (1 person)and “Having the Rarest PlayStation® Collection”(5 persons).

The 20th Anniversary Edition will be limited to 12,300 units worldwide, a number that reflects the launch date of the original PS, and will be available for a price of SGD689 in Singapore, IDR7,399,000 in Indonesia, RM1,779 in Malaysia, PHP26,999 in The Philippines, and THB20,990 in Thailand. The limited edition PS4 and included accessories come in “Original Gray” color, all packaged in a special commemorative box.

Good news for other Asian region but it aint easy to get one on hand. Heard that you need to win the contest to get one but what the price there for if you are not going to be able to buy it

I don't think the value will go for a lot down the road..because typically playstation consoles as of late go through 3 different redesigns...look at the metal gear solid 4 original gun metal special edition, the prices on that one have softened a lot.
