I see them as different editions from how FAD described them. Again, it is awesome that he let forum members get fist dibs on the ones that did not go to PAX. Not weird at all... I think it makes perfect sense. Really because first of all I was only speaking to those waiting and not those who helped the forum members get them. If I wanted to start something I would have, and it would not be subtle. When I make observations i tend to add facts and I am not polite about them (I do not sugar coat them... but no the other hand I do not try to make the facts sound worse either). I think people tend to want to see confrontation or bad things in peoples comments, I believe confrontation online is something people try to start without even knowing they are doing it (just watch a comment section on IGN, or YouTube... if there are 100 ways a comment could be taken as good and only one way it could be seen as bad they will almost always take it the bad way just to feel offended... people unconsciously love to get offended, they love confrontation). Actually the only reason it got any further then my first reply is the replies made me feel like I had to defend my observation and fix things I thought were incorrect in responses. Just a HUGE flaw I have now-a-days, well I am not sure it is a flaw but to others it certainly must seem like one as people do not like facts when they are facts that can upset them or others. But I say it again, I feel for you guys who are waiting and were not aware they would be waiting that long until their transaction was already placed (that is not be calling anyone out or show a mistake... it is just an observational fact). If that makes me an ass or makes it seem I am trying to start something then so be it. I will not change my nature to suit others I know that is not what you are saying, I just want to put that out there. Political correctness has its place for things that are hate related (like gender and race type things) but not for truth. See, I probably have replied all this time because I feed off of discussions (you could say confrontation)... I love back and forths for the most part. Love articulating my ideas. I probably shouldn't though as a lot of the time I am misunderstood.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son Delsin Rowe Statue
Hey Gang, I'm back!!
Sorry to go so long without responding but E3 was crazy! Not only did I have to make the Galahad and weapons displays for us, but i made them for Europe and Japan too, so I was working on those in the evenings during E3. When I got back, I had been gone for 9 days (and 5 days before that for Wonderfest), so it took me the week to get a handle on things. So, where are your statues? First off, I appreciate your patience. As a collector, I know how hard it is to wait for your purchases (I just got my Hot Toys "The Crow" which showed up long after all my friends got theirs...so I "get it"). What you have to realize is that I am a one man department and my part time admin assistant and I are deali g with this personally. Ryan and Treehouse were nice enough to run your credit cards, but in order to keep the shipping costs low, I am shipping your statues straight from our offices in San Mateo using our Sony FedEx account...and the shipping price can't be beat. We had to order special boxes (our mail room couldn't understand why they couldn't slap a label on the factory shipping carton. I had to explain to them that that some collectors value ALL the packaging) which came in on Friday. On Monday morning, my assistant and I will be packing these up ourselves and sending them off. I hope you enjoy them! Gary Last edited by Fad; 06-22-2014 at 05:18 PM. |

Awesome Gary, thanks. It's great to know that being a collector, you also understand how we think! No doubt this will reach us in a perfect condition.

Good stuff! You just get more impressive with every post!
Off topic but what do you think about the crow figure? Was actually contemplating that one. I'm just having a hard time not getting a pile of premium format statues. Especially the Court of the dead. Really excited about this line. My Jack the ripper recently showed up and the wait for the Queen is killing me. So many of the hot toys are so tempting though. Too many.. |

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son Delsin Rowe Statue
I'll have to answer that question tomorrow unfortunately. I had a couple pretty big "fires to put out" on Friday, and by the time I go home, I realized I'd left the damn thing at work! ;-)
Overall, I love Hot Toys. I only have 5 of them though. Most of them are awesome (i wish they would re-issue the Aliens line with better sculpts) but I went a little crazy with the McFarland "Movie Maniac" series a decade ago, and it got to the point that my office wall at Sony was covered with them, top to bottom, side to side. I decided to stop trying to be a completist and really collect the stuff that "spoke to me". ;-) Quote:
