That's such a huge factor with this whole ordeal, no single steelbook can withstanding international shipping (in particular) in a padded envelope. I've received a steelbook movie from dvd.co.uk which literally arrive bent like a bender and almost impossible to open up! Worst part was it was a limited edition so they couldn't replace it, so I just returned it. Then I ordered one from UK amazon, they sent it in a padded envelope as well with the same result when it arrived, luckily they were able to replace it but this time they packed it in a cardboard box just fitting enough and luckily arrived unharmed.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, these special limited edition should really be manufactured with it's on cardboard box like they do for Ballistic art books. So they Zavvi is forced to box them in a bigger cardboard box when sending it off, but they'll probably just stick into a plastic bad =_=

I guess we'll just have to wait and see and pray/hope we get what we pay for.

My last 2 orders from Zavvi were regular edition games, and each of them came in a cardboard box. There is hope!

I'm thinking of buying one of the £250 ones on ebay at the moment, I'm getting pretty desperate

At the moment, I don't think anyone worry about the condition it arrives in.. It's more whether they get a copy or not.. I mean the eBay sellers sure as hell can't guarantee you a mint condition copy anyways.. Im hoping my order with gift packaging options comes nicely as a 'birthday' gift haaha

Incredible. I preordered this the moment it was revealed, just 1 copy, and this damn thing hasn't even released yet but the ebay scavengers are selling it for 5x the value or more? Jesus, lor' have mercy!
