Yeah the prices is ridiculous. Elise is a great little car. Looked a bit at that and S2000 when the family planned on buying a roadster. Ended up with a MR2 though (great car, too little HP though...) An Elise 2011 cost around the same as you in the US pay for a brand new M5.. Have you tried an Elise?

Test drove one a couple weeks back. That is actually what inspired me to sell the collection of gaming items

Always liked the Elise myself, though never one of those "top 10 must haves" for me - I've always been more of a muscle-car guy than a roadster guy (though a few have drawn me in). What series/model are you looking into for the Elise? If you say 340r then I'd say THAT'S a collectors item!

Just an S1 or S2 2005-2007 Elise. I've always been drawn to the look of them.
