I'm very skeptical about the article, mainly because it's claimed that the 'Freedom Edition' is also making its way to the US, and it's also sourceless with that part of the article. But then again, the dude says he does this for a living!

I'll wait for the official Ubisoft announcements.

I just got an update that Play-asia will be offering some European collector's edition of Assassin's Creed 3.

Edit: Looks like a place holder has been made for the Join or die edition.

This is old news and they might be referring to another game, but UbiWorkshop posted this on May 16th on their facebook page:

I got an email today from ubisoft about the ubiworkshop edition.

According to their website it's available worldwide, the disc is supposedly region free

I'm actually just wondering if that's all is being offered to North America as their local "CE"??

could someone recommend which site would be the best for importing the Freedom edition to the US? Still can't believe this won't be released over here
