Yes, I was hoping hard this would happen, I don't care for the numbered version, I just want a UCE. Make another 30k-50k unnumbered if they want. (and no stupid raffling)

Happy for those who will now be able to get one without having to pay outrageous scalping fees, but upset that they announced 30k "LIMITED" run, and then backpedaled and are making more. It's not that I was likely to sell mine anytime soon (plus I don't keep mind sealed), but it's just a matter of ultimately diminishing the "collectibility" (albeit not by much) for those who did stay up and were able to get one. Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes and at least more of you can avoid scalpers (hopefully)!

Actually, the thing that annoys me with Square Enix (European Branch) is that when they limit collector's editions in its store, only some have access to them.
They say that they're a European store and they only ship to some European countries. Very unfair for fans.
I'm lucky to ship my orders to a friend in Germany, but what about other people?
Especially with editions that disappear pretty fast.

I agree 100%. I find it annoying when companies say they will make a certain number and then either seeing a chance to make more money or caving to people begging they produce more. If one of your advertising bullet points is the limited number produced, then just changing it is a slap to those who purchased the initial batch. Some buy only because they love a series, but many factor the relative rarity of it into their purchase.

I am consistent in that as well - even if I am the one who misses a window to buy something or can't find something that is not available in my region, that is just part of it. Some people want to see things like this made in mass quantity and then you find them in discount bins like most of the Halo or CoD crap due to the market being saturated.

In this case, Square should of already had measures in place to stop the scalpers, but aside from fixing that oversight, 30000 should of been it.

Sometimes we just have to put on our big boy pants and realize we may not get our way. Instead, you find people over the internet who hold their virtual breath and stamp their feet to get what they feel they deserved since obviously they were slighted by missing out as THEY are surely the biggest fan in the world.

Also, get off my grass!

Agreed. And then you see 'The Lord of Cinder' statue being produced as a standalone in one region. The Prestige Edition was limited to 2000 pieces, and the NA statue also being limited with the numbering system...with duplicate numbers?? That, in a way, is worse than adding more to the numbers...

I would settle for a "Collector's Edition" for FFXV since there isn't one release. If it had everything that the UCE has sans the figurine (not "limited"), I would glady settle with that as I don't really care for a non-statue. Plus, make it available for the mass. I'm sure there are far more than just 30k hardcore fans out there, as well as those who have waited for this since the announcement a decade ago.

I actually feel bad for the aussie as well. Only around 80~ for them and it was a raffle for a CHANCE of buying it

Im surprised when they initally announced only 30k UCE was going to be made I would have thought they would make 50k. Though Im a bit annoyed they went back on their word after saying many time they wouldnt make more but I do feel bad for a lot of people because the pre order was a fiasco

When the 2nd batch does come out, would be grateful if someone would be kind enough to help me out. Will be more than happy to cover shipping. I have a feeling EU won't receive as much distribution as NA in this 2nd batch but we'll see I guess.

The European Store tends to sold out much later than the Na one.
