DLC is based on the game region code. So it'll be US only (most likely. Region free DLC is rare). So you'll need a US account to redeem the codes. You can make different region accounts on any region PS3/360.

Hey !

Sorry if it has already been posted on the topic... I am lazy about reading all the 17 pages here.
But here's (a quite old) news that I just came accross and that would please PS3 gamers !

Think I might cancel my pre-order for this. The more I think about it, the more I think it's garbage.

I already have all the games in this set (as any SF fan would), already got the animated movies, the TV series included in this one is the terrible American cartoon and not the superior Street Fighter II V series and having HD remix and SF3:3S as DLC vouchers instead of on-disc makes this set worthless, as it'll never be a complete set if you were to sell it, as you would have used the codes (or they would expire). Same applies to the addition of the Alpha games to the ps3 version.

I guess it's alright for those who don't own the games and want to get into Street Fighter, but for true fans of the series I think it's a bit of a let down and doesn't seem fitting of a 25th anniversary collection. I really would have loved to have every SF game released on disc, including the original SF as well as the Alpha series. That would have been an amazing collection.

Woah wait a sec, the series included is not SF II V? So what is it then??? Is it those terrible cartoons with team Guile fighting the evil forces of team Bison and a bunch of other nonsensical crap?

:/

I died a little inside. I thought it was SF II V. But now that you mention I suddenly lost a little bit of interest...

lol sorry bro. I kinda felt the same when I found out, and when I found out some of the games were DLC-based. I just think this is a really weak attempt by Capcom at doing a 25th anniversary collection for the fans of the series. When I saw the Final Fantasy collection, I thought to myself, 'that is how you do a 25th anniversary collection!', not the crap Capcom put together. Such a shame.

^ Well to be fair the FF is exclusive to Japan and they don't have any licencing issues when releasing everything whereas this is in the US so there are licencing issues such as with Street Fighter V and Japanese audio on the short OVAs that came with the games recently. Same with animated movies, only English and the one provided is not the directors cut version. Personally have mixed feelings about the FF one.

The DLC is just crapcom being cheap, they said that themselves like with the DLC for Street Fighter x Tekken is a code rather that wasting money fixing disc. With that being said they also said it themselves that they couldn't bring this set to Europe because of cost issues ..... yeah right lazy a$$es =/

I don't really own any of that stuff so although somewhere deep down I feel somewhat gutted about the content/quality of films plus presentation; it still kinda worth it for me since I don't own any of the stuff like movies and games so yeah =p

It doesn't matter, even if it didn't bring II V, having this animated series in this edition is something I consider bad. I don't know what you guys think, but I've seen a little of the series in the past and I find it really bad and very... ridiculous :/

I'm more excited about the street fighter 4 movie not the one that came with the SF4 collector's.
