Default Re: Assassins Creed Statue/Figures

Just wondering but is anyone else really burned out on Assassin's Creed statues?

I'm finding with Origins that I just can't really be arsed with it anymore and I'm struggling to make any kind of choice on what to get.

As it is there's 5 different statues for it, a limited replica apple of Eden and a limited glove.

As well, I hate that Ubisoft keep sticking in the season pass now with the bigger ones as it just pushes the price up when I would rather wait and get the season pass reduced. (I know that's probably why they do it though.)

Can't you just buy season pass separate from game? (I think PS store has it for add on to basic game).

As for statues, I was hooked in early years and have most of them since Altair (crouched is still up there in favorites). Aside from that crouched and the really tough to find Attakus Ezio I am partial to the really well made polystone ones from Purearts and such. The Mcfarlane Edward is cool but Connor Premium and the new Bayek from Legendary by Purarts is sensational in my opinion. We talked about in earlier thread but the $800 Legendary Ed pricetag is worth it for that statue alone. That said, I agree it is too much especially for those of you collecting for multiple games that would be insane. I just get Creed stuff anymore but probably won't bother with the smaller vinyl figures that come with the gods edition or "protector of Egypt" pose, etc

I recently thought about tallying the total I spent to date on this stuff and decided against it as it would probably give me a cardiac event. Maybe I should start by tallying the value (I would hope it exceeds my cost to date).

Cheers,

JC

P.S. - Still waiting for Triforce Jacob too so can't forget about that. Although it's been over two years since that preorder.

I agree Vlad. As much as I love them I and my wallet can’t keep up. The 3-5 different versions only in certain regions kills me. They sell the statue for the price of the game and it kills me.

It's the only series I collect statues for, so it's not so bad. And AC hasn't gotten new official statues since Syndicate two years ago (unless you're counting the movie statues). So 5 new statues over the span of two years is alright if you look at it that way lol.

Just got the Bayek Protector of Egypt and Aya statues, and they look really nice. Bigger than the previous dioramas we've gotten too.

I agree that paying for a Collector's Edition just for a statue sucks though. Had the Gods edition pre-ordered, but decided to cancel. Will try to find the statue on ebay for a cheaper price in the future. The sneaky thing is that Ubisoft wasn't even including the season pass or the steelbook in the $150 Gods edition. I found the regular dawn of the creed edition (which had a steelbook, season pass and a bigger statue) for $50 more a much better deal.

Must be an Assassin's Creed thing...just got word that tons of the Origins special editions are delayed for shipping. I bought the Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition. I got my statue early but apparently the rest of the included goodies (along with the game itself) are now delayed??? Amazon is apparently having a similar issue with other editions of the game...so much for playing A.C. Origins tomorrow.

I also just had a "delayed" email regarding my Legendary edition (of course I got my statue for that back in July) but it said it would be delivered Monday Oct 30 and included a digital code to play the game.

I doubt however this has anything to do with why TriForce hasn't delivered a statue on an Assasins Creed game that is over two years old. I believe they would have needed licensing approval to even sell it. So who knows what the problem is. Hopefully it doesn't turn into another Arkham Knight Batmobile evaporation.

Cheers
JC

P.S. - When did you get your dawn of the Creed Statue? If you have some time post pictures of it.
