This is more a guess, but the population of america compared to The total of pal regions is significantly smaller resulting in the more limited supply of editions.

Depends whether you compare PAL generally or just PAL UK (with the BBFC circle rating) - some collector's only look for BBFC and not interested in European versions so I guess some of the UK releases are pretty rare and valauble - thought I noticed that AC3 went with European rating throughout...

I cant imagine collecting based on a sticker but at the same time i dont get sealed collectors either, i look for edition differences or art differences

I think that sucks a collector's edition of a certain game remains always the same. It shouldn't matter if the game is from italy, japan, uk or the states...

I feel that way too when the edition is identical, but when crap like borderlands 2 happens you can understand why.

I found an unused Nintendo messenger bag in the cellar - I got it at gamescom 2010 in Germany..
