As for statues, I was hooked in early years and have most of them since Altair (crouched is still up there in favorites). Aside from that crouched and the really tough to find Attakus Ezio I am partial to the really well made polystone ones from Purearts and such. The Mcfarlane Edward is cool but Connor Premium and the new Bayek from Legendary by Purarts is sensational in my opinion. We talked about in earlier thread but the $800 Legendary Ed pricetag is worth it for that statue alone. That said, I agree it is too much especially for those of you collecting for multiple games that would be insane. I just get Creed stuff anymore but probably won't bother with the smaller vinyl figures that come with the gods edition or "protector of Egypt" pose, etc

I recently thought about tallying the total I spent to date on this stuff and decided against it as it would probably give me a cardiac event. Maybe I should start by tallying the value (I would hope it exceeds my cost to date).
Unfortunately the Ubishop statue version is unique to that edition but that edition bundles in the season pass. My problem isn't really wanting to buy the season pass just now, it's more that I don't want to have to buy it now and I see it being bundled with their exclusive edition as just a cheap way of them pushing the price up.

Yeah, I've got a load of them from the start but restricted myself to the cheaper statues (cheaper meaning either the best that came with the game or ones such as the dioramas and avoiding things like the Attakus one), mostly because AC isn't the only thing I collect for and it would be way too much to care about all the stuff. I suppose what prompted my earlier comment is that with AC it's really starting to feel like even this cheaper stuff is starting to go too far.

Haha, yeah - I considered doing that but came to the same conclusion as you.

UPDATE ON TRIFORCE JACOB....

So I paid my Jacob balance in response to message on October 2 that they expected him to ship the following week. Whelp, realizing today that this was three weeks ago, I sent friendly message to Triforce asking them about the CONTINUED delay to which they responded...

"Thank you for reaching out to us! We sincerely apologize for the extended delay and inconvenience. We had some issues with the warehouse and still in the process of resolving it. We certainly understand your frustration with our extended delay with your order for Jacob Frye Statue."

to which I responded...

"extended delay is understatement since I preordered over two years ago in October 2015 and can you provide more specifics on what type of issues your warehouse is having and how long to resolve?"

to which they responded...

"We regret to inform you that the issue in regards to our warehouse is still active and is preventing any package shipments at this time. The estimated shipment will be in Q4 2017 and is subject to change. We can certainly understand the frustration of waiting for this product We sincerely apologize for the delay and inconvenience we've caused you."

Uhhhm, OK. Anyway, heads up to anyone else on the Jacob Frye waiting list. Let me know if you get a different story.

Cheers

JC

Must be an Assassin's Creed thing...just got word that tons of the Origins special editions are delayed for shipping. I bought the Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition. I got my statue early but apparently the rest of the included goodies (along with the game itself) are now delayed??? Amazon is apparently having a similar issue with other editions of the game...so much for playing A.C. Origins tomorrow.

I also just had a "delayed" email regarding my Legendary edition (of course I got my statue for that back in July) but it said it would be delivered Monday Oct 30 and included a digital code to play the game.

I doubt however this has anything to do with why TriForce hasn't delivered a statue on an Assasins Creed game that is over two years old. I believe they would have needed licensing approval to even sell it. So who knows what the problem is. Hopefully it doesn't turn into another Arkham Knight Batmobile evaporation.

Cheers

P.S. - When did you get your dawn of the Creed Statue? If you have some time post pictures of it.

I was just making a joke about the coincidence. I got my statue a couple months ago; you should be able to search my posts for pictures. It's all packed up now (we're moving soon).

Just checked my email and they sent me a free code for the Gold edition (downloading now) and a free litho is coming as well so I'm in a forgiving mood. Kudos to Ubisoft for making things right (and quickly too)... Just curious why they waited till zero-hour to make the issue known.
