seems to be a popular idea. which i do agree. it kind of comes down to who has the authority to saw one game is worth more than another. to me something may be worth a fortune but to someone else it may be worth nothing. its all a matter of opinion especially with what i have heard about the vga.

i would not 100% agree with that because i should have clarified in my original post with it being what you think about having your absolute favorite/ most valuable collectibles and games graded seeing as you may already own another copy of it. similar to what i do. most of my collectors editions i keep sealed but have another copy of the game opened to play it.

yeah i have a custom one for my dead space ule. even though mine is opened it still looks badass with the vga custom case.

I think "To Each His Own" I would never grade a game, but it's nice that there are enough people out there to know that there will or should be at least one copy of each game in near perfect condition that should be around for a very long time

To each their own and all that but imo it's a monumental waste of money.

they are very expensive. i will agree. but in all honesty it does not seem like too much money for the actual service. its the price of them after they are graded that people want for them that is the pain in the ass.

I understand the reasons why people are against grading but i actually am getting some of my favourite games graded myself for a few reasons

- i like the look of a sealed game in a case as i am a sealed collector
- to protect my games. You would not believe how many times i have accidentally damaged a CE or game either mishandling or not storing properly. Just yesterday i damaged a CE
- to highlight how mint some of my games are. A lot of people say mint but this isnt always the case. I know there is inconsistency with grading but a grade of 90+ shows something is mint

i agree. the look go them in that case is sick. i used to not keep my games sealed but recently i have been. i just like that to be able to put on display. when i handle most mine i wear rubber gloves (especially with my art prints) call me crazy for doing so but it helps.
