Sometimes I don't make any sense.

What I meant was that if you already have the CE on order, and you aren't that excited for the art, maybe you could save some cash and just look at the one that comes with the CE.

Ah well then the explanation is easy. I'm a sucker for limited edition stuff

Limited to 500 copies, whereas the CE is going to likely be 10 - 20 K easy

No no, this edition is different to the one with the Titanfall CE boxset. It would be weird too as this one is limited to 500 so giving it away with the boxset would be confusing.

I will take credit for posting about this LE artbook in the main Titanfall thread, though. Isn't that right, Mags?

Oh I thought it was the same book just with a slipcover. Sorry to confuse everyone.

The concept art for this game is amazing. They did some incredible world-building, and the lore and backstory and care with which they treated all the details of the universe is really exceptional. Not sure how much it's going to factor into the actual finished gameplay, but the art book is full of amazing stuff.... Just sayin'.

Should be interesting then. I am very skeptical about their push to put single player elements and story into an entirely MP game, doubt it will become anything too interesting.

As for the concept art, I do have to admit there are very few games regardless of content that don't have some exceptional concept art and thus the art book has material to use. It's too bad so many games fail to meet that concept art but I guess it's not easy

I really really think you'll have a different opinion after you play it....

I just went through the whole book again looking for something to maybe send you, but there's no point. It's just all good.

Perhaps anything is possible but I very much doubt there will be anything above the MP aspect of the game. I think the MP elements will be excellent. Respawn has the talent from IW and will excel in that area but the SP elements feel like shoehorned to try and justify a MP only game which is unnecessary

I should send you a PM again!
