For any photo you want to post directly to a thread, yeah, it has to be public so that you can Share it.

You can link to private photos if you prefer.

Do i need to be on a computer to do this? the only thing i can remotely do is "copy url" on flickr. Theres no grab bob code or star you were talking about.

Ah, yep. I mean, you can probably do it on the flickr app or whatever you're using but I've only used the website via computer so that's the only way I can tell you how to do it.

Yea the app has nothing like you stated besides a "copy url" but that doesnt seem to work when i put it in one these thread comments. Quite dumb if you ask me since everyone and their mother is on mobile and not so much on a labtop/desktop.

Desktop version but on my phone. Its a pain in the ass because everything you click refers you back to the mobile version that doesnt have the bob code. And even when you get the onto the bob screen, they project the box on the image so if you you move the screen or anything, the box dissapears. Even when you do manage, after fiddeling with it, youre only real option is to copy the entire url text. Then when you paste it on here you have to manually delete all the other text that shouldnt be there. Like i said, it was a huge pain in the ass. Ill just take pics with my phone and upload them with my labtop....itll just be easier that way. im excited to finally show off my entire collection tho

Cool. Mobile is handy for certain things but forums are always easier on a computer in my opinion. No auto correct so it doesn't change BBcode to bob code for example. Easier to select and highlight text accurately, move cursor around in a text field etc. And post images of course.

Always excited to see new members' collections!
