I agree it’s not a G3, neither was the Pokémon Steelbook. Here’s a pic for reference:




It looks the same dimensions to me as the mini Steelbook EB Games is offering.

Not to steer off topic, but SONY said for the first time this year they've sold MORE digital copies of games then physical copies of the same PS4 title..once 5G sets in..i really really believe PLAYSTATION 5 will be the LAST generation for optical disc drive games/physical media.

I have been told by a EB stuff that the small size steelbook will comes with a pin badge, so I guess the pin will keep inside the steelbook

Those Mini Steelbooks are too small to hold discs. Imma be picking up the MHW Iceborne one tomorrow which just comes with a digital code for DLC. I'm very curious how appealing its gonna be opening up.
