Amazon cancelled my CE preorder!

Not too fussed, was probably going to cancel it myself anyways.

No statue / action figure? this is a major breakthrough!
many useless items (at least for me)
they could have left only the mask, artbook and steelbook to make the price better

how many of you feel there will be a PS5 version as well? Sony would have to factor in overall slowing PS4 software sales, because of the anticipation of the PS5 launch just mere months away by the time this game releases. i bet a souped up PS5 version will be released sooner than later, i also think the same thing holds true for The Last of Us Part II that a PS5 variant is practically a given!!??...since these are very expensive AAA titles that are highly reviewed so SONY is gonna definitely cater to the fans and "double dippers" for sure! that's my take!!

That's the reason why I canceled my pre order for the CE. No reason in getting the game now for the dying generation when it's very likely to come also for the more powerful next gen.

Yea, i bet my bottom dollar the "definitive versions" will be out on PS5 in 2021..i don't think SONY would spend multi-million dollar budgets on AAA titles only to be released during a period of the current gen fizzling out and sales slowing down..this is one of their most highly anticipated releases, i would be shocked! if a "remastered/definitive edition/game of the year/complete edition"..etc..type of format does not launch for PS5 soon as the console releases, especially with the initial software droughts brand new consoles tend to suffer from during the launch windows.

I'll just be grabbing the Special edition as I want that steelbook.

Seriously though, if Sony have any credibility, they'll release a patch to bring the PS4 version up to PS5 standards so you don't have to buy another 'better' copy of the game. Similarly to what MS are doing with Xbox games.

The Last Of Us was re-released for PS4 twelve months after the PS3 release. Pretty sure they'll do the same with Part II and Ghost Of Tsushima for PS5.

LOL

The only reason MS did that is because PS outsold Xbox 3 to 1, so MS has to do anything and everything possible to try to get people to them and that is one of the few things they can do.
Sony will release a PS4 version and 6 months to 1 year after they will release a full price PS5 version... And with a new LE... wanna bet?

That shouldn't matter, one sure way to lose customers is be anti-consumer.
