Re: Sealed or not sealed - That's the question

Wtf? You throw away the box and manual? I'd rather sell the game after finishing it instead of throwing the box away. |

Re: Sealed or not sealed - That's the question
You could sell the case and manual on ebay. Ive bought case and manuals for up to $10. Start selling them.

Re: Sealed or not sealed - That's the question
If I had known someone would have wanted them, I would have kept them all and given them away as a freebie. I do regret throwing a few of them away. GOW3, Bad Company, MGS4.

Re: Sealed or not sealed - That's the question
OMFG...
I've come to learn that in the long run the box and manual end up being WAY more valuable than the actual "content" that you're supposedly paying for. I used to build legos as a kid, a few years ago I decided to sell a bunch of my kits. Most of them fetched $80 to $150 A PIECE on ebay because I had the original box and manual in good condition. the few models without a box, some of which were more rare than the ones I got over $100 for... would only fetch about $15-$25 even though I had the manuals and confirmed that all the pieces were included. Everyone saves the disc and keeps it in good shape... but manuals are easily lost and cases are frequently damaged.... if you want to keep your games in a binder that's fine but you're best off squirreling away those cases and manuals in a box in the attic... because in the long run that's were 90% of the value will be if you ever decide to resell it. |

Re: Sealed or not sealed - That's the question
NES complete is worth 2-10x more than NES game cartridge. Most people don't care about this and only care about shelf saving. If people want shelf saving, DD is not a bad choice. As for most collector, we prefer physical copy.

Re: Sealed or not sealed - That's the question
I tend to buy 2 - 1 reg and 1 CE. Keep the CE sealed.
