10,000 copies is quite a lot for a relatively obscure game franchise. I can understand that there are some hardcore DBZ fans out there, and this would appeal more to them, but for the general CE connoisseur this just doesn't cut it in a market already over-saturated with much higher quality CE's for AAA games

This will go one of two ways - Either it'll sell out on pre-orders to the hardcore DBZ fans, or it'll still be there weeks after release pending a significant price drop to shift stock before Xmas. My money is on the latter, considering the vast amount of expensive CE's which are being released during the holiday period and the time leading upto it

My boyfriend is now getting this as part of his Christmas (he doens't know there's a CE, so shall have to put him off buying the normal edition!) as he is a HUGE DBZ fan, we are skint at the moment due to his DBZ love, as he's getting a full sleeve tattoo done of some characters xx

Zavvi have secured an exclusive Collector's Edition for Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi for the PS3 and X360. The Collector's Edition comes with a figure at a price of £69.85!
It is said that this Collector's Edition is limited to 10,000 units. No word about if this is the total amount or to be meant for each platform.

Release date is set to October 28, 2011 - pre-orders can be made here

Due to our big DBZ fan community I created a news post and added it to the database for both systems.

For guys (in my case, students) who want the figurine but don't have the money or resources to purchase the CE, the figurine can be bought separately. I just remembered that the figurine is one of the next entries from Banpresto. Release date is on October.








I'm surprised that they chose the SSJ2 Gohan for the figurine since Kakarot's the obvious choice. No complaining, though. We don't get a lot of Great Saiyaman figurines and this rendition is perhaps the best figurine in the upcoming line next to the SSJ3 Kakarot.
