I don't really mind the lack of a seal either. I'll get to actually look at all the goodies, lol.

When CE's are unsealed, you just don't get that feeling

But again that's my thoughts.

Still nice to know that you'll be careful with how you ship them as I would be crushed if the tin was damaged at all, let alone the contents
I hate to admit it, but I'm already cringing at the thought of thin sheet metal in postal transit. Here's hoping all our tins arrive in excellent shape!

I do believe that you all are getting better with the way you all pack stuff, but I've had more than a handful of items arrive damaged. The latest we're my Mass Effect Homeworlds books that arrived with dinged up corners.
It is both snug and completely surrounded by six pieces of styrofoam.

Very valid complaint. In our limited defense, we don't actually package or send anything ourselves. Our warehousing and fulfillment is handled by a 3rd Party Logistics company, and we battle with them over the quality of their packaging fairly often. We try to set guidelines, and we escalate different issues with them when those guidelines aren't followed, and we evolve how things are supposed to be done as we experiment and learn and get feedback, but it's a bit tough when it's essentially out of our hands. One of the reasons these boxes are arriving to the warehouse ready to be shipped right out is so that we can eliminate another possible point of failure between the factory and getting to you. (This sounds a bit like they're all bad, which is neither the truth, nor the point I'm trying to make. They do a fair amount of special accommodations for us, and often at short notice, and most packages are delivered without incident, but they're not quite as careful or perfect all the time as we'd like for our customers [though, that's an impossibly high bar, and would almost certainly be equally true of any solution short of doing it ourselves].)

We do always try to take care of people when things are damaged, in transit or otherwise, though. There is a certain degree of littler imperfections that have to be chalked up to "shit happens", but if there's real damage, we'll always work with you to try to make it right.

Yeah. The one thing I can definitely say with confidence about Treehouse is that they're really, really good about taking care of their customers. Every time I've had a problem with an order, they've gone above and beyond to try and fix the problem. So kudos to them on that.

I think with this awesome kit collector edition that has been assembled
None of use are sad or unhappy that it is not sealed as it is obviously that it is a very rare thing these days
A thing called a shelf filler
Where the contents are meant to be opened and displayed in a nice bundle like in your promo pics
So for many of us the lack of a seal is a bonus as it means we do not devalue out by opening it
But for the few that where planning on buying 2. One too open and one to keep sealed, they may be disappointed
Not personally your companies fault, it seems that a few companies are over looking the options to seal collectors editions these days

I personally prefer the circle stickers on flaps seals for collectors editions like yours that have a lot of little things that should be open
And the shrink wrap full seal for the statue/art book standard CE as you know your not missing out on anything by leaving a statue &art book CE sealed

The latest were my Mass Effect Homeworlds books that arrived with dinged up corners; and can't forget the Kingdoms of Amalur mess. No padding was used at all for the KoA Signature Edition, and the fragile boxes were crammed together in a tight shipping box. The big statue box crushed the smaller box that the game was packed in, and the statue box itself would also get damaged.
I agree with Mortal on this my koa was damaged too, will you be keeping a few tins back for replacements in case any are damaged overseas or in the US ?

i`d assume either
they have a small 1 -2% excess of the stated quantity to cover breakages
OR
they would recall damagaed ones and replace the broken parts for undamaged parts
OR
they would hold 1?2% back in order to cover DOA`s and then after a month release these for sale either straight sales or to a waiting list if they sell out
