Uncharted 3 Explorer Edition - super deluxe Collector's Edition for the UK available for pre-order

From what I understand the US edition is called 'Collectors' and the UK edition 'Explorers'.

Content wise (again my understanding) is that the UK version has a wooden chest type bag that it all comes in and the game is the 'Special Edition' which is in the style of a journal.

The US version comes in a different box (seems less nice TBH) and also the bax box is different - its s steelbook.

There is no china version. It says English + Chinese. That would be the Asia version and most likely we will get that here as we always get the Eng+Chi versions

In U.S...stores sometimes they'll offer limited edition steelbooks...what they do is put out the steelbooks for sale, say things like pre-order now, put down $8.99 deposit, and take home this steelbook"..and when the game comes around, just do not purchase it..and they will "charge the $8.99" essentially for the steelbook..i guess they figure, you'd come back for the game, cause why would you be a fan of the steelbook, and not the game?..or why would you want an empty case?..so maybe, anybody can find out..if someone can just pay down a small deposit, as a "pre order"..and then walk away with the steelbook?..and not show up for the game...but it depends, if u get steelbook now?.or day of release?..in america, they tend to give ahead of time whenever a promo like this happens..especially with Blu ray movies, etc...just food for thought..I REALLY WANT THAT ITALIAN STEELBOOK FOR UNCHARTED 3!!!!! ..somebody make it happen!!!!

I got in contact with my local store and they said their store is not selling games anymore.
so i contacted the next one(~100km away)and they said they have the steelbooks but they will only be able to give them at launch date with the game(i wanted to use that preorder method Twisted described but no luck ). So i can get game+steelbook only
When everything will be good to go ill post all the info,paypal,... in "group buys and exports" but look around a 120€+shipping-less if alot of copies will be preordered (sealed game+ mint condition steelbook)

The game itself is 69.99€(which you can resell)+ a couple of € for the steelbook+ a 400km trip to preorder this and pickup(gas)+ i think no one's time is free. ill make sure to check every steelbook to be mint condition + ill box it safely so you will get it intact(as a collector i know it sucks getting something smashed by post) and ill try to send it from Italy to keep the shipping costs as low as possible

wow digi thats some travelling dude for a steelbook, i think your entitled to charge whatever you wish, seeing as it is a lot of trouble

i think DIGI, the best way to approach this is for you to come at a FIRM "FIXED PRICE" (all inclusive)..and then we can decide whose in and whose out, also thank you for understanding how particular especially myself us collectors, can be, during packaging and shipment, i am sure you will know how to best handle it,.meaning double bubble wrapping, oversized box for some wiggle room so the steelbook corners don't get smashed up and boxing it and treating it like fragile glass would be the best bet,..also i hope you have a paypal account, for those of us who give you the go ahead, i think that would be the only solution to pay..but you would need to confirm you have product in hand and ready to go,.unless you have or others have a better idea...just my 2 cents (opinion)..also just to be clear, i am NOT 100% on this YET..it all comes down to if i feel it is worth it, keeping in mind your travel expenses and fee..if it all rounds out to be "reasonable" and fair, then mostly likely i will be in...i can come to this desicion only when you come up with a firm price, and you have confirmation of game+ steelbook in "mint condition"...i apalogise for the rant, just wanted to clear the air, where i stand, and what i feel is the best way to approach this.
