The code in the sleeve needs to go with the promo disc

Nope.

I can confirm that Multiplayer launches and works on TLL physical promo discs without inputting any TLL PSN code and with nothing previously installed. Took some time to download and install the latest updates and modes from within the game (after installing the game itself), but everything's fine. Looking at it right now.


So physical promos don't require sleeved PSN codes for multiplayer.

Anyway, my PSN TLL codes in sleeves contain the full game. I don't see any reason for Sony to give out the full game on a code if you only need the multiplayer component from it, and I can also confirm that Sony is releasing other "sleeved" PSN promos for newer games.


I'm not selling unused codes anyway, but I'll give away "used" sleeves for collecting purposes for free.

Hmmm strange I got a retail copy and came with a code which did not state what it was but on redemption was the multiplayer unlock key

Two totally different kinds of codes.

I know of at least 3 different kinds of TLL codes, not including region specific codes.

That being said: Full game and Multiplayer both work on my sleeved codes, but on UK PSN accounts (Code didn't work on a Hungarian account, for example). This was tested today (but there is no problem in creating an extra UK account and your'e set).
