The Last of Us: Survival, Post-Pandemic Edition coming to North America & Joel & Ellie Edition for Europe + One Special Edition

The steelbook is included in both the Survival Edition and the Post-Pandemic edition. Survival Edition is cheapest. The steelbook has Ellie on one side and Joel on the other.

There is also a Futureshop steelbook I believe, but no idea what it looks like (or if it will be the same as this one) xx

Any word on why these are still in stock on the website?
Were they really from the initial orders that got cancelled? Or did they decide to produce a new batch (a huge new batch)?

There still in stock online because of the orders that got canceled. They are not selling in store anymore only online. These are very limited trust me. I got the correct number two days ago. Let's put it this way there is less then there is GameStop stores worldwide, and there will be more in stock when they cancel the orders of the individual's that order multiple ones.

I have trouble believing that though

As it sold out so fast online originally and now after cancelling some portion of the number that was originally available online, it's taking a lot longer to sell out

If it is as limited as you suggest (and I do believe it could be) I think gamestop must have oversold this

I mean has anyone heard of any orders actually getting cancelled?

Some international orders maybe but just because of gamestops archaic verification system and not because of multiple orders and the like

Again I would love this to to be truly limited but from the what I can see, it looks far more like an increase in production size more than cancellations of orders that led to opening the pre-order again

Would love to be wrong though.....

I understand what you mean, but they canceled orders for many reasons, for improper information, for exceeding quantity or it could even be the one who purchased canceled there own order, and like I stated before this is very limited, I just can't go into details. None of you have to believe me and that's fine, but just so you guys know I know a couple of high ranked individuals at naughty dog and I have even gone to there main office a couple of times. If you guys don't believe me and are so sure that this would be mass produced then don't preorder then and just wait to price drop but don't complain later on when you guys have to pay double or even triple on what you guys could have really gotten it for.

A problem I have is that it has been one of the top sellers on Gamestop since it was back in stock. No way it could be rare with the way it is selling.

it is now Feb 5th..and this edition is still available...limited to perhaps one million? ..let's get real..we once again almost fell for the limited edition marketing gimmick...this one is being made in the thousands..just like the US NTSC Uncharted 3 edition.
