Anyone in Aus remember how long postage takes? What are the odds I will get the game tommorow?

I'm getting far cry from amazon. Couldn't justify an extra $60 for the steelbook.

Sounds like everyone is getting their games pretty quickly here. Getting my Guillotine edition from a kind member on here, hopefully we'll work it out before Christmas though haha!

All the reviews I've been reading seem pretty much on par with most AC reviews in the past

Yeah, I believe so - honestly my inbox has been blowing up the past few days from so many different pre-order code bonuses and such. I do recall seeing that email though - it had 2 codes I think, 1 for the "spin-to-win" (SHAM!) bonuses, and 1 for the "First Look Reservation" (which I didn't even end up getting to watch).

That stinks! If it makes you feel any better, I wasn't able to join in any of the "teams" for the pre-order bonuses on the UK site...


So I got an email from Amazon saying that they're pushing the date for the AC:U Mega CE Guide thing off indefinitely (set it to 11/25 right now) until they hear from the issuers - anyone heard about a delay on this thing?

I didn't receive any shipment confirmation and my history page on uplay website doesn't load. This is why I've been hating ubisoft for the last few years.

Amazon UK was weird about it for me. (If it's the big Initiate edition guide you mean.)
A while back they changed the release date to 28th of October but now I've got a delivery estimate of "Friday, 21 November 2014 - Monday, 24 November 2014" and it's also now showing as Currently Unavailable. (And to add even more confusion, Game say it'll be released on the 28th of November.)

Who knows, maybe there wasn't enough interest to make it a viable product, as in they've got to this point, checked the preorder numbers and realised they wouldn't make much, if anything on doing a run of them.
I mean, I got in fast when it was announced and ordered at £50 which is really pushing it but trying to charge its actual price of £75 for it is way over the top imo, so realistically I don't know how many people would be willing to spend that much on a book, scroll and plastic cup.

Also, maybe it'll just sound stupid and paranoid, but I'm finding it quite bizarre how it's so close to release and yet all we still have officially is the mock-up picture of how it'll look. Even outside official stuff, I think I've only seen a couple of pictures and that was of the plain white prototype chalice.
Now, to me, surely if you're trying to sell a big premium thing, especially as it's one of the first editions like this to be released, you'd want to do at least even a basic level of advertising, not just announcing it two months back then having total radio silence on it.

For what it's worth mine hasn't shipped yet either, heh, was starting to feel like I was the only one that didn't have theirs shipped yet there.
