This game looks so epic! Although my interest at the beginning was non-existent, my excitement has grown with each new trailer shown.

Agree about the CE's though. None of them are really anything special. I do have the Premium Package pre-ordered though, not sure if I'll bother with any others.

I had this pre-ordered (Collectors Edition) but I had to cancel... I have 2 other CEs with a month time of this one and cant afford all three (Bioshock and God of War). Plus the Lamp to me isn't worth the $90 you pay for it. The Lamp CE should have cost no more then $100, MAYBE $120.


The game itself is fun, I played it a long while back when I got Zone of Enders HD collection just to try the demo then quickly sold the collection for what i paid for it.

The US CE is way too expensive. I personally think the premium package is the best. Not the konami style one as that just adds a figure that can be bought separately anyway. Besides, white armor Raiden doesn't suit the character...

I just hope the Jap steelbook is G2.

The lamp did turn out better than I expected though. Would like to see high res pics.

The lamp did turn out alright but I was under the impression that the white Raiden Play Arts Kai figure was only obtainable from the CE... the black one being the on that can be bought separately (this may have changed for all I know)?

Yep I think you're right. I prefer the normal figure that's why I think it's best to skip out on the white Raiden.

Well, there is a nice deal here in the Netherlands, you will get a steelbook+ hardback guide + t-shirt + game for 55 euros, so i'm just going for that alone for now !.

Game UK was quite cheap last week, as they just released a voucher and my friend got the game + CE guide and steelbook book for 45.98, was 50.98. There is also 3% cashback on top too. It's 52.98 now but I think the code still works: 5 quid off 50 quid spend enter VCUKFEB13 at the basket.

The first print of the Vocal CD in Japan will come in a special metal case with a holograph and gleaming logo, although you can't see it clearly here =p

Speaking of which I do notice that all these western limited editions and pre-order bonuses (except GAME SB and Lamp) are all bits and bobs off the JP konami style premium edition
A difference as well for those that don't know apparently only Japanese and Germany edition will have white blood and rest of the world is red blood in the game.
