Agreed...On all points.

There are so many better CE's out there, I'd have thought ME3 would have a better CE or even a super-limited-collectors-special-ultimate-uberdooby-edition.....I know there was that Italian exclusive with the Normandy model, but why only Italy?....Also I have the Normandy model anyway.

They were planning to have a super special uber edition with an amazing Normandy model (bigger, better and more limited than the Normandy model we all know and love) but for some reason, the idea was scrapped.

The CE we have though, is quite nice. I thought the steel case would be pretty bad (I thought they took a page from the Dark Souls CE book when it was first announced) but it's amazing. The patch, not so much... The artbook is nice though and the lithographic print is actually quite good and not just some postcard disguised as a lithograph. I would have preferred a physical copy of the OST but hey, with music like that of Mass Effect, I'm not complaining.

I quite liked the collectors edition. Yeah the patch it rubbish. But the steel case is nice plus the artbook and downloadable soundtrack are all pretty decent.
