I definitely screwed up. Always take the bargain when it is there instead of trying to haggle down lol.

The Zack on ebay is going to go through the roof, maybe hit like £65 maybe, depends how bad people want it. I might as well just go home instead of staying here at work watching it go up and up with some last minute bids that I won't get involved in.

Besides, I have a Final Fantasy VII Cold Cast 1/8 Resin Statue of Cloud and the Hardy Daytona to take home which arrived today for me.

So Kind

This site holds (i think/hope) 2 types:

People with Great Collectors Editions etc
People with Great Collections.

I am in the latter as i have cancelled most of my Pre-orders for Collector's/Limited Editions & will focus more on the games below:

Main ones

Final Fantasy (all)
Band of Brothers
Fallout (all)
Mass Effect (all)
Diablo 3

Then smaller bits/groups

Star Ocean
Suikoden
Elder Scrolls (all)
Baldurs Gate (all)
Dungeon Siege

In the end i may sell some of my other bits as i was spreading myself too thin
Would try this site first before the maddness which is Ebay.

Hi mate, nah I didn't get round to taking photos at the weekend. Not likely to this weekend either.

Have been busy lately trying to get all 160 fragments in FFXIII-2 and was aiming to see the secret ending, saw it last night and only 3 trophies short of the platinum so I'll get that tonight! Not even sure how many hours but getting near the 90 hour mark.

From a person who hasn't been a gamer for over 10 years and caught the FF collecting bug late, I think I'm doing pretty well. I did 65 hours on FFXIII to complete the game so I haven't even looked at getting platinum for that yet as I'll need another 65 hours or so.

The Cold Cast statue came really well packed so I was really pleased, shame not everyone pack their stuff for shipping as well as he does. He had it bubbled wrapped neatly and cardboard wrapped around the box and then used brown paper to wrap it up neatly like a Christmas present. On the outside he printed off a couple of colour FRAGILE labels to ensure Parcel Force didn't throw it about. Although second hand, it was in good shape but not in mint condition. I should have taken photos as I unpacked it. :/

Ordered the Crisis Core Strategy Guide last night so that should arrive in a few days, doubt it would be sealed but we'll see. It is sold as new from ebay.

Are you collecting anything and everything Final Fantasy? I'm sure you got a lot of unofficial stuff too like the FFXIII mugs, which I'm interested in getting from ebay as they look well made. I'm assuming they are done using decals but still.

I'd hate to purchase a fake if it was advertised as an official product. If I knew it wasn't official then that's different.

What's your views?

Sorry to spam your thread again but can I get everyone's views on this please. Hope you don't mind. If it belongs in a new thread then please can a mod do this for me?

I have a dilemma here. Just trying to work out if this ebay shop is genuine or not. His auctions do say they are official so perhaps it is. Thing is, he has over 300 Zack figurines and these are no longer sold in Square Enix Shop. I would have already bought one but the postage is ridiculous to post to the UK but free in Australia! So it makes sense to buy the bundle but I already have a Cloud and Aerith, so if these turn out to be fakes then I would have spent more money. If I do get the bundle at least I can compare them with the two I have.

Should I risk getting stuff from their or stay away? Is it too good to be true? They do seem to be selling loads of other stuff too and no one has complained of fakes.

No that's ok, Final Fantasy away....

Well i would say you have 2 choices:

1, Not buy them & wait till a UK seller with good feedback sells one (hope buy it now) but that still has risk
2, go ahead & buy them & if in the end you think they are fake complain to Ebay (you may get something back) or even Google it (before) to see if there has been any issues news on fakes?
Could have been a company folding & a warehouse of stock going cheap (bit like the locker guys in the US)?

I have brought items from Japan & Australia takes about 15 days to get to you.
Yes some of my stuff maybe fake but what can you do (saw a program about fake bags been brought in Spain then when people cross into France the Police stop cars & if fakes found cut/rip the bags up in front of the owner or face fines/prison) so it's all over

Well, I've done some background work/research already which includes contacting Square Enix as well as the company who are the reseller/distributor in Australia. Square Enix didn't advise on purchasing goods from unofficial resellers, the company in Australia confirmed that they did not supply goods to this ebay seller. Square wouldn't confirm so perhaps it was a Data Protection thing.

Other things putting me off is the postage cost and eventually the import duty tax for the items too. $60-80 AUD for delivery is pretty disgusting for a figurine.

Oh man, your stuff looks so nice when it is all together like that. Might have to come live with you if you have a spare room. I really need to start looking for a 3-4 bedroom house real soon. Hopefully the wife won't mind too much when I start branding the house with Final Fantasy stuff lol. She currently doesn't mind as she also likes it and enjoys watching me play the game.

Thanks for your input and please take plenty of photos for more inspiration! LOVE IT!
