Obviously I've never ordered direct from ubistore UK as I can't even see the ruddy website so I'm clearly not the best person to answer this but don't want it to get lost I think calling customer service is the best option even though they have terrible phone support? Anyone have the number handy?

I wrote to there support last year, when I had to change something in my order..
They just told me I could cancel my order and make a new 1.. The way I cancel was to write a new ticket to there support that I wanted to cancel my order.. No need to call em ![]() |

Thank you for all the responses regarding my query... it's very much appreciated. I've sent them an email, so should hopefully get a reply in the next day or so (although I've been told it may be longer). Failing that, I will give them a call from my mobile/cell phone. Thanks again!

Thanks for getting back to me but my question is still not answered: Game company's and game seller sites have items you have pre-order in advance of release date so we pay for the Item upfront under the PayPal Buyer Protection Policy in all cases it is more than 45 day to months till the item is sent out. If the item is not in a satisfactory condition (damage to item etc) when it is received and the place where the item was brought including overseas transaction and postal service does not give much help in replacing the item. Ok this is getting hard so I will put it in questions: 1. I have brought a game on a games seller site, it's a pre-order in February 2013 the game is not released untill November 2013. 2. ''PayPal but do bear in mind that you have 45 days from date of payment to open a dispute.'' 3. It is now November (more than 45 days since transaction) and the pre-order has been released and posted and it is not in a satisfactory condition (damaged in transit including from overseas transport say) when it has been received. 4. So my question is it looks like we are not covered under the Paypal Buyer Protection Policy because it is more than 45 days from transaction is this right? 5. If this is so what can be done to rectify the problem as it looks like no one will take responsibility. Item not covered under the buyer policy the company were the item was brought will say item was fine when posted and the postal company will say is the item insured when posted. 6. If the item was not insured who's fault is that? The sellers because there is no way to insure item on site when buying item or the buyers. 7. So my point is, Items brought that fall under a pre-order transaction and paid upfront are not under the Paypal Buyer Protection Policy because the item was received after 45 days. 8. If this is so is there anyway we can be protected when buying items on pre-order? A pre-order policy I can not see why there should not be one as there is a binding agreement between parties it is just the time the buyer has to wait to get the item that is the problem. You can open a paypal claim at the 44 day mark which extends it for another 20 days but doing so usually adds a red flag to your paypal account in a lot of these big companies online stores Some stores will block your paypal account if you open a claim escalate it and then get your money back even if they were at fault Therefore credit card is far preferred for pre-ordering
