The litho will be identical to the foil-stamped one we did for the developers that you were drooling over in the other thread, only without the foil stamp. It'll also be signed, where the giclees aren't (unless you have him sign it while you're there). I'm pretty sure your itch will be scratched.

According to Meagan Marie, No.

Unless they change their mind?

Thanks. If I miss the giclee, I'll have to try at least for the litho version.

Honestly though, it has been my experience that giclees are much better quality over lithographs. Colors are much more lush, better color contrast, and details in the art are slightly finer. That's why I would much prefer the giclee over the litho.

I have a buddy in New York and I've already emailed him about this. Hopefully he comes through. Haven't heard back from yet though.

Like you said though, I'm sure I'll be happy either way. A guaranteed signed litho sounds mighty good to me.

* All art is 18x24

* Everything is $40

* Numbering:

+ Screenprints are numbered sequentially 1 to 250 out of 250

+ Giclee numbering will be confusing. The editions at the stores will be 1 to XX out of XX for each shop. For instance, there will be "1/40 NY" and "1/40 SF" and so on for each number. So that's 80 out of an edition of 150, which means the last 70 will be available online. I'm waiting for confirmation on exactly how (and whether) the online ones will be numbered.

+ If editions don't sell out at the shows, those prints will be rolled into the online inventories, so there's a chance some lucky people may end up with those specially numbered ones without being there. (No, I can't take requests....)

* I'm including the zoomed shots I cropped for the store below so you can see the full art and a bit of the finer details. They'll be in spoiler tags so the thread doesn't get blown up with photos.

Sam Spratt - Tomb Raider Giclee
Edition: 250
NY/SF: 120 ea.
Online: none
(The 10 hold backs will be possible promo or contest bait. This image will be available as a litho in the near future for people who can't get to a shop.)
Image:
Spoiler!

Courtney Billadeau - Elemental Screenprint
Edition: 250
NY/SF: 50 ea.
Online: 150
(We got our samples of this one to the office and it came out really nice.)
Image:
Spoiler!

Logan Faerber - Field of Lost Sailors Screenprint
Edition: 250
NY/SF: 50 ea.
Online: 150
(The half-tone patterns on this one are neat. Check the detail image to see the interplay of really fine linework in the rain and the dot pattern half-tone to add contrast to certain areas. This is the only other one I've seen in person and it also came out perfectly.)
Image:
Spoiler!

Matthew Taylor - The Tomb Screenprint
Edition: 250
NY/SF: 50 ea.
Online: 150
(You can't really tell what's going on in the tonal background elements from the full image, so check out the detail to see that there are actually some cool enemies lurking there with glowing eyes. I thought this one was a neat minimal design, and the colors were chosen _perfectly_. I really hope the printer got all the colors right.)
Image:
Spoiler!

Victo Ngai - Illustrator Screenprint
Edition: 250
NY/SF: 50 ea.
Online: 150
(Holy shit the linework on this one is incredible like you wouldn't believe. Also, metallic gold ink!)
Image:
Spoiler!

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE Sam Spratt - Tomb Raider Giclee ... does any one knows if its still available ???
And im just 20m away by train from the city !!

Hey Treehouse_Ryan,

When exactly will the art be for sale at the brick & mortar stores? Will they be sold starting tomorrow(Friday) or Saturday? The Facebook posts are kind of vague about that; or maybe I'm too stupid and didn't read carefully...

Thanks.

Everything will be for sale as soon as the doors open. I can't promise from here that the doors will open on time, but I haven't heard anything one way or the other.

There were talks about Crystal inviting industry people for something private, but I don't know when that would be at this point since it's supposed to open to the public tomorrow morning.

If I hear anything concrete I will pass it on, but they're pushing to open when they said they would....
