The biggest thing this whole kit has going for it, for me at least, is that it's a retro themed kit. This could be some current next gen kit, and I wouldn't be nearly amped for it...
Not going to lie, I'd try and land it either way due to the 150 count, but I wouldn't shell out more than $300 for current themed...Ive already made some somewhat huge offers already for this, and was damn near laughed at...lol

Oh wow, this is a beautiful press kit.
Capcom has been known to sell their press kits in their webstore.
Hopefully they'll sell some of these on their store.
I understand they're numbered, but it's still possible to see them for sale on the capcom store. After all, we don't know that they've distributed them all already.

Red face Ducktales For Sale/Trade

Well I will definitely keep my eye out. If anyone on this forum comes across or gets their hands on one (Complete one), definitely let me know if you want to sell or trade it...

i was digging more into this...i guess you can take everything with a grain of salt, depending on if you believe what you read..but this is made by timewalk games..it is a old cartridge refurbed and repainted with a new label attached on to it...it got capcoms blessing when iam8bit supposedly presented them with the idea...this is NOT some official factory capcom run. it is old cartridges repainted with a new vinyl sticker attached and sent out by capcom. capcom paid timewalk games to make these out of old nes cartridges. since that's what they've been doing for awhile refurbing and recodeing old nes games and do a good job at it...so it's what would be known as a code 2 product...manufacturer approved, but not made by capcom or nintendo, and not brand new item but a retrofit and refurb and repaint of existing cartridge.

Sounds like one will be auctioned for Child's Play at least:

http://penny-arcade.com/report/artic...heres-how-they

Also talks about how it was made. Not sure where this makes it land regarding new vs. old cartridge and how that influences the value....

I don't get it...They're auctioning the actual game to someone and all proceeds go to Child's Play? What's Child's Play btw (Besides the actual horror flick)? Any word on when the auction is?
