Re: My Guide to Poly bags and protecting your games
I typically use the resealable food bags from Tesco. They're a nice thickness, and protect from dust as well as general handling scuffs. They come in three sizes (Small, Medium, and Large), although the L ones are getting more difficult to get hold of - At least in my local store where I think they've been discontinued
The Small size ones are ideal for Blu-Ray sized items. There's a bit of wasted space, but generally I use these for all of my Blu-Ray SteelBooks and PS3 CE's. The Medium size ones are a bit of an awkward fit, but with a little folding they can be used for anything Dvd sized. I also use these ones for the smaller CE's such as Gears Of War 1&2, Mass Effect CE's, Dvd sized SteelBooks - Basically anything which fits on a shelf with regular Dvd sized items. The Large ones are great for the majority of everything else, such as the recent Prototype 2 Blackwatch Edition, or Catherine Stray Sheep Edition etc. They're also good for the majority of Dvd / Blu-Ray CE's, and I also use them for larger box sets These poly bags are ideal for preventing the shrinkwrap on my sealed items from getting accidentally ripped, and also protects them from any moisture which may be in the air (if you live somewhere humid) |

Re: My Guide to Poly bags and protecting your games
Hi Gurps, I bought the normal DVD wraps from that seller that you had listed in the ebay example, but they never sent them and I had to get a paypal refund as they wouldn't answer my e-mails.
Are these any good as a substitute? As I'm looking for a seller that sells decent ones, (I don't want to buy them and find my steelbooks and games damaged over time or anything like that as I know comic book people worry about acid or something in cheaper quality plastic covers. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200-Standa...61013603859%26 Any advice is appreciated. Re: My Guide To Poly Bags and Protecting Your Games
Hello everyone
I was just looking at getting some poly bags to protect my steelbooks and found this. It's a great guide. Now I just bought these off ebay, not realizing about the made in china comments; http://www.ebay.com/itm/300776075115...84.m1497.l2649 I'm all worried about the oils and such, so I think I'm going to buy better ones. Also, these are resealable; but the sticky is in the bag itself, not the flap. Anyone have any recommendations on which ones to buy? |

I have some sealed PS3 games in standard cases along with some sealed Wii games, standard cases..are there polybags that have sealed flaps that would be "perfect fit" for these 2 items?..i want to protect the original cellophane from getting ripped or torn.
