I have purchased several items from Japan and all the items purchased, THEY where all authenticated by the game designer, in my case CYAN WORLDS Myst video game franchises.

They even have some sample in there vault of what I have in my collection and I do have a contact in that company that does help me authenticate the items and lets me know that it is real.

So for any Uncharted collectors, I'd say it is safe.
