Amazon only refunded me 15%... Guess I should contact their CS again?

They didn't even ask for photos, they just offered to send a replacement (then figured out they were sold out) then refunded me. They even offered to waive extra shipping costs if I wanted to purchase from a seller on Amazon.

The whole net thing in Australia is a con, why when I came here in 2000 I had cable Internet from Telstra to me thats fiber optics, which is out side on the box which is fiber optics . So you see where I'm coming from. The shit was fast and it was unlimited to. Then after 8 months they capped it to 1GB and charged me the same price because ADSL came out.
As Telstra had me in a long arse contract I was stuck for a long time they wanted people to move to the copper as it can be more controlled as in cap the speed to 512k which is where most of the country is at.
Damn I think the slowest copper ADSL 2+ speed in the UK is 2.5 - 5MB hell if you are a business here you can pay for ADSL 2+ 20MB copper right now speed.
The NBN is a con to me if you can get Foxtel TV you can get cable Internet and to me is just as go as "NBN" when it comes to speed. They say it's to much to do lie, it will take till 2020 lie, they sacked the Spanish geezer and dropped 3 Mill on him so they could make the deal to make billion's with tax payers coin and even if it gets here they are going to double dip and charge the consumer top coin just to have fast speed.
Thing is they are going to get away with the con to as the G owns 51% last I knew. I think the big rail job in the UK will be done and dusted before the NBN is even at 30% completion.

I talked with a rep last night and he told me they are not able to issue full refund if I don't return the item, and the partial refund is 20% at most, so I get another $8 back... Better than nothing right?

I guess it's just different for everyone. I ended up getting a 40% refund which I thought was very generous of amazon. Can't complain.

Damn, when I told them someone was getting a full refund, the rep asked me for the order number and account info, which is impossible for me to provide... I used to think 15% is a huge percentage, but now...

Yeah, I think Will's case must have been special seeing how the return shipping back to US Amazon from Australia would have been crazy for a package like that.
