i've just added some pictures. i actually have two consoles one is from 2001 and the other 2003. just thought i'd update and see if anybody has some thoughts and or ideas of value.

is there a difference between sealed steelbooks and not sealed?

what i mean is there a difference between this




and this



is it worth more because it's sealed? or does it even matter?

Hey Dan

Yes, it is worth more if it is sealed... to a sealed collector... Especially older releases like the one you show
Some collector's aim to have an entire collection that is sealed and immaculate (where things were originally factory sealed) and there are also collectors who would prefer sealed ont he basis that it is less likely to have any marks or scratches than an open one even if their plan is to open it themselves
Hence an auction for each of the two above would finish higher (in normal circumstances) for the sealed one though the number bidding at the end would be small....

Mine has a weird flaw where the back sticker hasn't been cut by the machine properly, so I've got like 1cm of the next one in the line's artwork at the top of mine, and have lost a bit from the bottom

Kinda annoyed me to begin with, but I don't really care anymore xx
