avoiding any spoilers of any kind, this is a thing, that edward has in a trailer, and it signifies something that either is important, does happen in Black Flag or will happen in the next 2014 release of assassins creed

i hope that is spoiler free,
but here is another way of saying it this is what ubiworkshop are making, if you play Black Flag then there is a possibility of one of these things turning up, but there is just as much chance of you seeing moby dick, or the mary celeste, so take my words as ramblings and not based on what happens in the game at all

Not sure what it is but looks like Lowly does. It does appear in the trailer though. But definitely a more interesting item than the usual apparel they release..

And the ubiworkshop wishlist grows..

It does appear in the trailer and I do know what it is
(The advantage of having finished the story)
But I refuse to tell or give public hints as it will upset people and finding out in context is so much more fun, but its not at all important, so try not to focus on it, there's much more important things happening in the game
Like PIRATESSSSSS AND things like that

Definitely prefer to find out on my own but yes more excited about the pirates thing than anything else
