Are you playing it now? I sank about eight hours in a few days ago and played until 4am last night. I'm just about to finish chapter 3 and I'm 23% synced, with 100% in every missions so far.

The exclusive does not really has something to do with AC 4, as you say the main game is set from 1715 to 1730, but Aveline is first born 1747..

His question was more about if that exclusive mission about how it fit into with the game Liberations..

No I am not playing it anymore
I have 100% the story made apart from the black island and ps3 extra content (that I don't have)
I done the main story first, ignoring optional objectives and then done all sidenquests and collectibles and then re played 3/4's of the main story for 100% sync, but I came stuck on 2 treasure maps that are so very hidden, I would not have found them without determination and patience

Oh OK I have no idea where the extra content fits in Wight he AC3L game, but I'll know in January (when its released)

Have you played the Sony extra content?
I would guess it has something to do with ac4 as it is in the game

Sony exclusive "60 minute" gameplay content was only a 6 months exclusive
Meaning that the content is exclusively available on Sony ps3/4 for 6 months, and not a only EVER available on SoNY
But UBisoft is refusing to confirm that the content will come to other platforms after that 6 month period and who could blame them, the game has only just came out,And saying that extra content will be released in 6 months is like saying, don't buy Xbox PC or Wii version just yet, buy it in 6 months when all the content is available,

Instead I see a announcement for ACV on the same day (6months from acivbf release date) and the exclusive content to hit on the same day To other platforms

Black Flag's PS3 bonus content is and forever will be PlayStation exclusive, just like it always has been.

May I ask why would you blow through the game so quickly?! I take my time and savor every second of the game. It only comes once a year, to squander it so quickly is madness. To me, it's silly to play it so fast.

I don't understand, what the words you typed mean
The source is a story about UBisoft saying that the content will never be coming to other platforms, but there is also "news" or a report in there that the content is only "licensed" as "exclusive" for 6 months, so there is a "possibility" that it "could" be released at a later date, but in my mind it does not "make sense" from a "sales" or "marketing" stand point on Sony or UBisoft or the "sony-ubi" relationship to admit or give details about such future release plans, and we must also try to understand who the UBisoft officials that are reference in the article, actually are, and whether they are the people who make the decisions about what will get released as DLC,

But to answer the question about whether to play the 60 minute content before or after AC3L
Quote:
The hour-long "short story" is divided into three bonus missions for PlayStation 3 and 4 owners, and will pick up a while after Liberation's conclusion
So I would think play it after ac3L

Well there is currently no way of replaying the modern day section of the games, so I blast through as fast as possible to make the modern day sections happen as close to each other as possible and this gives me a better understanding of what is going on in the global modern day arc, as I can always replay the game for the historical part, and I intend to take my time on a next gen platform latter this year,

I try to do this with most games now-a-days. I still enjoy them, but the story missions (and story itself) is far more of an important use of my time the side missions and sailing for hours. There are just far too many games to play and I have been behind for some time now.

Hell I still need to try and finished the Dishonored DLC. And there were a few games I want to replay or finish re-playing but I just do not have the time.

Also AC comes out EVERY YEAR. So it is not like I need to enjoy every drop thinking I wont get any for years to come.
